42,000 SAC troops attempt to take the towns of Amarah and Kut. With the Saudi Arabians taking most of Kuwait the IC forces should not be expecting such a large force attempting to penetrate their forward line. ![]() 1-2 SAC troops attack but are surprised by the heavy resistance met and SAC troops are obliterated with only 1,000 returning to friendly lines. 3-4 SAC troops are able to penetrate into the IC army but are stopped at a stalemate on the towns borders. 5-6 SAC troops take the town of Amarah but it looks as though most of the IC troops were in Kut planning a counter attack on Baghdad and take the SAC forces take heavy casualties and cannot move on. 7-8 SAC troops are able to take the town of Kut and Amarah with little medium casualties. IC troops take heavy casualties and have to retreat back. 9-10 SAC troops are able to take both towns with little resistance from the IC troops. IC troops were almost non-existence and are thought to be near Kuwait. Someone want to roll for me? |

-The remaining IC forces in Kuwait surrender and are taken to POW camps in the ARU -The Kuwaiti Royal Family in an act of gratitude decide to join the ARU and in return are allowed to keep their thrones in a purely ceremonial status. (Kuwait=my color) -ARU casualties are estimated to be between 15,000 and 20,000 while IC casualties (including those killed in in the air attack) are estimated to be between 65,000 and 80,000 |

![]() - The AESS states to Albania that tolerating Radical Islam will not be tolerated by neither Greece nor Serbia, both founding states of the AESS, as Radical Islam in the Balkans is not tolerable, given the relatively poor diplomatic relations between Greece and Albania, as well as Serbia and Albania. In essence, the 2 countries also threaten invasion and annexation of Albania into Greece, following the ICs interest in that region. (post one of Albania's annexation) ![]() - Meanwhile, with news of heavy losses on the IC Navy at the hands of the NAU and her allies, the IC has a small number of ships left, mostly Cold War leftovers. As Many Egyptian Navy destroyers and frigates were sunk, the Egyptian and Syrian Navies are not accountable for serious action and Greece, Cyprus and Italy are safe from invasion. - Nevertheless, AESS Naval Forces prepare for "OPERATION KARXARIAS". ![]() - AESS ground forces in Anatolia, supported by 100.000 SAC units, now numbering around 530.000 forces (SAC included), larger than their enemies in Kurdistan, motivated by Russian sucesses in Armenia, Ajerbaijan and now Iran, prepare their advance into Kurdistan. Already, an easy victory is expected, after relentless Bombing and Guerrilla Warfare in the said region, which halted the enemy's advance. An attack on enemy positions is planned, after however Guerillas achieve several more goals. ![]() - Algerian Army Forces are to be re-enforced by 30.000 French Forces and 10.000 British Forces in their own country, so as to help them crush Morocco and put their invasion of Western Sahara into a halt. Assistance has been requested from Spain, herself bordering Morocco, as the former feilds a large, well-equipped army. Algerian troops prepare defenses in the event of a retreat, and then prepare for action. ![]() - AESS re-enforcements headed for Libya arrive, however late for combat, ready to assist AESS and Libyan Army Forces in their defense against the IC. - As Many Algerian Army losses have been sustained on the part of international forces, 20.000 British and French forces move to Ajdabiya, in order to stop the IC Advance. At the same time, Rafale Naval-Strike Carriers and Eurofighters based in Sicily attempt to gain air superiority, while heavy artillery pounds IC positions. 1-2: IC forces nearing the city of Ajdabiya are massacred by the tens of thaousands, while air superiority is achieved above Libya. IC forces must withdraw. Only 450 AESS and Libyan army losses. 3-4: IC forces take losses, but they fail to take the city and withdraw. Air superiority gained. Medium AESS and Libyan army losses. 5-6: IC forces manage to take the city, but they have taken considerable losses and must wither withdraw or lose the city. Air superiority contested. Libyan army survivors go guerilla to exact revenge. 7-8: IC forces manage to take the city, after suffering medium losses. Air superiority contested. Libyan army survivors go guerilla to exact revenge. 9-10: IC forces prove too strong; Ajdabiya falls with few casualties on their part. The British and French withdraw to Brega where they set up defenses. Air superiority heavily contested. Libyan army survivors go guerilla to exact revenge. You rolled a: 8! |

![]() - IC forces suffer medium losses when taking the city of Ajdabiya, while air superiority is contested. Out of the 2.000 Libyan Army defenders, 500 of them survive and go guerilla to exact revenge. Aproximately 5.000 British and French troops were killed. ![]() - Things with Albania get out of control, when in Agia Saranta, several Albanian Soldiers burn down the Orthodox Church and all Greeks inside the Church, numbering 39, die. Greece declares war on the Albanian state, followed by Serbia soonly afterwards. Only 10.000 Greeks and 5.000 Serbians can participate in the operation, however the poorly equipped Albanian army is merely scratching Greek and Serbian forces; the latter quickly seize the city of Shkodër, an influential city in the North of Albania. Greek forces annhilate the Albanian Army in a pincer move, and the renmants of that army quickly withdraw to Tirana. ![]() - AESS Generals, alongside Libyans, set up a plan to harass the enemy army and stop their advance. The nearby city of Brega is evacuated and specialists set up many booby traps in administrative buildings. All food, oil and other essentials are removed, and the national water supply is cut off for this city. As soon as an enemy forces occupy the last room of any building which was wired with explosives, a booby trap will go off, initiating a chain reaction of fuses which confuse the enemy, but only one will eventually reach the demolition charges, destroying it. As the most improtant buildings of the city will be torn apart, Artillery forces will pound enemy forces inside the city, who believe the enemy has turned tail and ran. At the same time, Stinger-armed soldiers and Guerrillas will harass the enemy airforce, in an attempt to establish air superiority. Once the enemies are weakened, the 15.000 survivors from Ajbabiya will strike back and defeat the enemies. If successful, the enemy will not only be forced from the trap, they will also be forced to stop their advance altogether. [NOTE: Edited because I forgot to add the number of casualties on each side.] Edited by CommadantCipher, Jul 19 2011, 12:07 PM.

1-2: The plan works like a charm; IC forces get crushed and they get slaughtered, as they receive losses exceeding 100.000 dead and many more wounded and/or captured. Their advance must stop, as the enemy morale after this is shattered utterly, with light AESS losses. Air superiority achieved. 3-4: IC forces bite the bait. The plan works effectively and tens of thaousands of IC troops get slaughtered, with medium AESS losses and a shattering of the enemy's morale. Air Superiority gained. 5-6: IC forces do bite the bait, and the plan does work, but not without many AESS losses and medium IC losses. Air superiority contested, however the scales slide slightly in favor of the AESS. 7-8: The plan has medium sucess, as half of the city is still under enemy control and heavy losses are sustained. Air superiority contested. 9-10: The plan fails to inflict heavy losses on enemy forces and when the frontlines clash, heavy losses are inflicted on both sides. Air superiority still heavily contested. You rolled a: 2! |

Their advance must stop, as the enemy morale after this is shattered utterly, with light AESS losses. With air superiority achieved, IC forces in Libya are to be harassed by constant aerial bombings until they withdraw from the country. - Meanwhile Greek forces march into Tirana, where they meet little resistance and Albania surrenders. However, for daring to kill Greek civilians, Albania pays the ultimate price; this country has been annexed into Greece and Serbia, after all of her crimes against the Greek and Serbian peoples. Northern Albania is annexed into Serbia, while Southern Albania becomes Greek territory, known as "Northern Epirus". (Albania = my color - map to be sent to Templar). - AESS forces in Asia Minor prepare for "OPERATION: KUMA". |

OOC - Cipher, you have probably used up most of the C4 in the whole of the AESS by filling up a major city with explosives in every building - enough explosives to level most buildings - and given that it has Libya's second largest hydro power station, and is a major hub for the Libyan oil industry, you have severely damaged the Libyan state. I'm also unsure as to how 15 000 survivors from Ajdabiyah managed to fend off a (minus casualties) 200 000 man force of well equipped and well trained soldiers from Egypt and Syria - and as you failed to mention anything about evacuating Brega or civilians leaving, I have to assume that you left around 10 000 (given the date) or more civilians to die for your plan to occur. * The North American Union and President Petraeus denounces the recklessness of the AESS in Libya that has destroyed a major center for the energy and oil industry of the Libyan Republic. * * President Petraeus also criticizes the AESS for the massive civilian casualties inflicted in their Brega massacre. * * President Petraeus cautions against the AESS from performing any similar attacks in the future. * * Despite their position as allies against the Cooperative, President Petraeus begins distancing the Libyan Republic from the AESS in the wake of the Brega Massacre. * ____________________________ ![]() * Work on Project Green Eagle is proceeding exceptionally well, and it is expected that the first prototype will be ready in a matter of months. * * To further International Cooperation, the North American Union, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Cuba and the Free Israeli Government, proposes a Chinese and Indian role in the project. * * Proposals for a Hydrogen Powered aircraft are also put forward, as the near monopoly of the IC on the worlds oil supply begins to take a toll on NAU and Allied reserves. * ____________________________ * In the Horn of Africa, Operation Mountain Run begins. * ![]() * F - 22 aircraft viciously attempt to seize air superiority over both Yemen, and Somalia as the first stage of Operation Mountain Run. * * Meanwhile, Thunderbird Close Air Support units begin strafing runs on Yemeni forces and launch a bombing campaign against Mogadishu. * 1 - 3 = Air Support is heavily contested, with widespread SAM sites in Yemen and Somalia exacting a heavy toll on American Fighters. The bombing campaign against Yemeni forces is also largely ineffective as SAM sites and IC forces armed with anti-aircraft missile systems destroy much of the force dispatched for Operation Mountain Run. 4 - 6 = Air Support is established through superior fighters over much of Yemen and Somalia, though several areas that are heavily defended by SAM sites and anti-aircraft brigades have been left untouched by Allied Air Power. The bombing runs on Yemeni forces manage to stall any advance they had planned into Saudi Arabia, while the bombing runs on Mogadishu kill many militia members and pirates guarding the city. Heavy civilian casualties however, are reported and kept under a media black out. 7 - 9 = Air support is claimed over Yemen and Somalia, with many SAM sites being targeted by the Guided Missile Cruisers of the First Allied Combined Fleet to great effect. Moreover, the attacks on Yemeni forces cripple their Command and Control centers, leaving them open to a large scale assault by ARU and International Forces. In Somalia, it is believed that several high ranking militia members have been killed in the bombing run. Moderate civilian casualties are reported and kept under a media black out. 10 = Air superiority is claimed over all of Yemen and Somalia, with all SAM sites destroyed by a combined air assault, and by Guided Missile Cruisers of the First Allied Combined Fleet. In Yemen, the bombing campaign has completely crippled the poorly equipped Yemeni military, who is now dangerously exposed to an ARU counterattack. In Somalia, most high ranking members of the cities militia are killed, along with the leader of the organization. Despite these successes, and in thanks to targeted assaults, light civilian casualties are reported and kept under a media black out. You rolled a: 7! |

In Somalia, it is believed that several high ranking militia members have been killed in the bombing run. Moderate civilian casualties are reported and kept under a media black out. * * With the success of the bombing and air superiority campaign, it is decided that Operation Mountain Run will proceed as planned. * * President Petraeus finds that many high ranking Libyan officials are furious over the Massacre of Brega, and together, they begin to improve relations between Libya and the Allied States, while Libya distances herself from the AESS in the wake of the massacre, and as it is widely reported. * ___________________________ * As the Allied Expeditionary Force, the North American Marine Corps prepare to strike at their opponents, it is announced that Ethiopia and Oman have fallen to Islamic Cooperative Forces, and that an assault on Djibouti is about to occur. * * Islamic Cooperative forces tied up in Ethiopia rush towards the Somali Coast, expecting an assault and rush towards Djibouti to expel the last of the opposing forces from East Africa. * ___________________________ * Japanese Arms manufacturers begin to benefit heavily from both government Armed Forces expansion, and from expansion from trade with the Islamic Cooperative. * * They begin to invest in advanced weaponry in all sectors. * * Japanese Ground Forces are raised from 300 000 to 500 000 in the face of the Chinese decision to call up 250 000 000 troops. * * Ties between the governments of South Korea, Japan and Taiwan are also improved - while Myanmar becomes the recipient of foreign aid from the three states. The Philippines too begins to receive aid in an effort to create a bulwark against the Chinese state. * |
