* As Islamic Cooperative Naval forces attempt to retire from the battle, they are caught in a wave launched from the carefully concealed Aircraft Carriers that have just been brought into the fight. The Islamic Cooperative Naval Forces in the Arabian and Red Seas, and in the Persian Gulf are massacred as the Yemeni-Pahstuni-Iranian Fleet, a Yemeni Fleet en route to Kuweit and both the First and Second Egyptian Fleets are destroyed by the First Allied Combined Fleet. * * Main Naval Fleets of Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Pashtunistan, and Palestine remain but most are focused in the Mediterranean. * * The Battle is celebrated as a huge victory, with the First Battle of the Gulf being called 'fully avenged'. * * The Battle becomes known by its title, Operation Hail Glider - or the Battle of Hail Glider. * _________________________________________ ![]() * American confidence in the war is restored by the Battle and it is put forward as a major tipping point and opportunity for Allied forces to exploit. * * The Allied Expeditionary Force, along with the North American Marine Corps begins to move towards the Horn of Africa in a massive and escorted Naval Flotilla, guarded by the returning First Allied Combined Fleet (3 smaller task forces of 3 - 5 ships taken from other theaters are taking over patrolling operations. ) - as the 300 000 deployable troops of the North American Ground Forces begin transferring to Western Australia for Operation Mountain Run. * _________________________________________ Event - Troubled Times Ahead - Part One * In Asia, trouble is brewing as a distancing from America and the rising power of China spurs Paranoia in Japan, and leads to secret trade deals and weaponry exchanges between the Islamic Cooperative, and Japanese Self Defence Forces. * * In preparation for what is perceived as an inevitable conflict with China and Russian power in the Pacific, Japan begins stockpiling weapons and begins to build up her Armed Forces in secret while the International Community is focused elsewhere. * * A clique of Radical Officers is also beginning to form in the newly polarized world from across the Army, Navy and Air Forces that espouse Japanese Self Reliance and advocate a unified Asian front of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Myanmar and Taiwan to combat Chinese influence, with America now cooperating the Chinese behemoth. * |

*Kazakhstan joins the Russian Federation. Interior Ministry troops quickly move into the nation. Kazakh military units are integrated into that of the Russian Federation. Russia continues to supply energy to China and Europe to counteract the loss of IC oil*![]() -------- (edited part was to include everything after this. ONI can vouch for me that I didn't edit the roll) *Russian forces regroup and prepare to launch an assault into Iran. Tactical Ballistic Missiles are launched at Iranian air bases and known heavy AA systems so that Russian aircraft can fly unhindered* ![]() 1-2 Missiles obliterate almost all Iranian airbases and heavy air defense systems in N. Iran. Air superiority is secured 3-4 Majority of missiles destroy Iranian air bases and heavy air defense systems, but enough are left so that air superiority cannot be established. 5-6 Some stuff destroyed. Air superiority option called off for the time being. 7-8 Tactical ballistic missiles miss most of their targets and land in civilian areas. Iranian radar acquires Russian launching sites 9-10 Most missiles are either shot down by Iranian air defense or miss their target. Iranian missiles destroy the launchers and render most of the tactical ballistic missile sites in S. Russia inoperable. You rolled a: 3! Edited by The_Grim_Wiiper, Jul 19 2011, 04:01 AM.
