![]() - Kurdish Army and Anatolian Corps's Guerrilla Warfare tactics work so effectively, that IC forces in Kurdistan must either stop their advance completely, or suffer serious loses in doing so. In the following days, as it is being proved, IC forces in Kurdistan get harassed, ambushed and such attacks on supply convoys leads to problems of supply, as the problem of supplying more than 300.000 forces in a country which is mountainous and barren is becoming more severe. - More and more troops reach Anatolia and soon the 250.000 AESS forces will be ready for war. ![]() - Meanwhile, the Hellenic Airforce attempts to gain air superiority above Kurdistan. 1-3: IC Aerial Forces are annihilated by the Hellenic Airforce's Squadrons above Kurdistan - Air Superiority Gained. 4-6: IC Aerial Forces prove a match for the Hellenic Airforce's Squadrons above Kurdistan - Air Superiority Contested. 7-10: IC Aerial Forces' strength begins to cause losses on the Hellenic Airforce's Squadrons above Kurdistan during the opening stages of the battle. ![]() - With contested Air Superiority, the Hellenic Airforce has found it's match; excellent pilots in modern aircraft find themselves against worse pilots in worse aircraft but in superior numbers. ![]() - Kurdish rebels and the Anatolian Corps' specialist AA gunners armed with FIM-92F Stingers attempt to aid the outcome of the air battle. 1-2: The Stingers fail to cause any considerable losses on IC air forces. Air Superiority remains contested. 3-4: Stinger-Armed Guerrillas cause some minor losses on IC air forces, inadequate for shifting the balance of air power. 5-6: Stinger-Armed Guerrillas cause many minor losses on IC air forces, however, that much is adequate for air power to shift in favor of the Hellenic Airforce. 7-8: Stinger-Armed Guerrillas cause serious losses on IC air forces. Greek Air Superiority has been achieved, despite the small number of enemy air forces. 9-10: Guerrillas armed with Stingers cause so much damage that in fact most of the IC aircraft above Kurdistan are either shot down or are withdrawing. Air Superiority has been achieved. You rolled a: 2! |

![]() - Air Superiority remains contested above Kurdistan. However, to avoid a war of attrition which has already claimed 16 HAF aircraft (F-16s), the AESS has more aces up their sleeves. ![]() - British Airforce Aircraft based on Akrotiri, Cyprus, being 20 Eurofighter Typhoons, enter the fray and into Kurdistan. BAF aircraft engage IC aircraft in an attempt to shift the balance of air power towards the side of the Greeks. 1-3: IC Aerial Forces are annihilated by the Hellenic Airforce's Squadrons, with the help of the British above Kurdistan - Air Superiority Achieved. 4-5: IC Aerial Forces suffer serious losses by the HAF and BAF - Air Superiority Gained. 6-7: IC Aerial Forces still prove a match for the Hellenic Airforce's Squadrons above Kurdistan - Air Superiority Contested. 8-10: IC Aerial Forces' strength begins to cause 4 more HAF losses and claims 6 BAF Eurofighters above Kurdistan during the opening stages of the battle. ![]() - Algeria, after successful negotiations, is now an AESS member. The AESS pledges to modernise the Algerian Army, Navy and Airforce. With 120.000 regulars and 200.000 reserves who are now to be called up, Algeria is going to be a major player in shutting down the IC in North Africa. (Algeria = my color) ![]() - Out of the 120.000 regulars, 20.000 will remain to protect the homeland and 50.000 are to be stationed near the border with Morocco, aided by 100.000 reservists. 50.000 Regulars and 75.000 Reservists will aid the Libyan Government in fending off the IC attack. ![]() - The AK-103 is the army's main assault rifle, with 150 T-90s entering service. Algeria becomes the first foreign customer for the ESKAM Hefaistus project, outside of the other AESS countries, which ordered the tank in large numbers. With large numbers of SU-30s, Algeria will also have the edge when it comes to air warfare, although Naval-wise their navy is extremely small, with very old ships. ![]() - Despite their equipment, the Algerian armed forces are still considerable and a draft is introduced. Warfare plans are readied and the Algerian Armed Forces prepare for action. Edited by CommadantCipher, Jul 18 2011, 07:30 AM.

IC Air Forces continue to have dominance in the area and relentlessly pound Royal Kuweiti Forces. Link ups with militants are made bringing 70% of Kuweit under Islamic Cooperative control. 6-9: Islamic Cooperative Airborne and Marine Forces find themselves in a pitched battle but still manage to seize the landing grounds. Only a few link ups with the Militants are made and the IC Air Forces suddenly find themselves reeling from a combined Kuweiti-ARU Air campaign to seize dominance over Kuweit. 40% of Kuweit is under Cooperative control. 10: As Islamic Cooperative forces hit the beaches, they find that the Kuweiti Army is heavily dug in and inflict severe casualties on the landing forces. After a bitter struggle, only two of seven landing grounds are secured and the 50 000 troops have suffered heavy casualties. In the Air, IC dominance is crushed for the time being as SAM sites and ARU Air Forces manage to drive them from Kuweiti Air Space. Link ups with the militants are still absent though and a mere 10% of the city is under Islamic Cooperative control. You rolled a: 5! |
