With Damascus taken, Syrian forces fall back with the government to Northern Syria. Aleppo is made the temporary capital. However, in the land that has been taken by Israeli forces lies a strong insurgency thats well trained, well equipped, well funded and knows the local area. The insurgency is exceptionally strong due to peoples fears of suffering a similar fate to the Palestinians of the Gaza strip and West Bank. ![]() Syrian and Iranian subs prowl the waters of the Eastern Meditteranean. ![]() Syria begins to fire balistic missiles into Israel, aimed mostly at Tel Aviv. They reek destruction on the Israeli population. Seeing the desperate sitution in Syria, the next stage of Operation Sledgehammer goes into action to relieve the pressure. Egpytian F-16's, Mirage 2000's and MiG-21's take to the skies of Southern Israel, attempting to gain air superiority. They are joined by several Libyan Rafaels and Iranian Su-30's and J-10's. They are quickly followed by Egpytian Abrams and Libyan T-90's and other Mechanised forces in a blitzkreig style assault. 1-3= The attack is a great success. Much of Southern Israel up to the Dead Sea is taken, and the Israeli Air Force takes a beating 4-7= The attack goes well. Solid progress is made in the south, although air superiority is up for grabs with both sides taking heavy air losses. 8-10= The attack makes little ground against a stubborn resistance. A bloody stalemate is reached just several miles inside Israeli land. You rolled a: 5! |

The attack goes well. Dog fights occur all over Israel and Northern Egypt as fighters battle it out for control of the skies. Both sides take heavy air losses. ![]() Egyptian, Libyan and Iranian forces pour over the border, forcing their way through Southern Israel. A fair amount of land is taken, including most of the Gaza Strip. ![]() Fighting is fierce and casualties are heavy for both sides. The Israeli population continues to be subjected to Ballistic missile attack by Syria, missile attack from Insurgents in the West Bank and Lebanon, and air attack from Egpytian, Libyan and Shiite forces in the south. ![]() Many in the West Bank rise up, seeing the attack in the South as their oppurtunity to kick out the Israelis or gain revenge for the killings of loved ones. ![]() Egypt closes the Suez to shipping destined for Israel. Iranian and Syrian subs continue to hunt Israeli shipping in the Meditteranean. Edited by Finn 1939, Apr 11 2010, 04:00 PM.
