Operation Black Gold Story: Spoiler: click to toggle In this game, you will take the place of the soldiers fighting for the British Armed Forces and the European Rapid Reaction Force in their fight to regain control of the Falkland Islands and the rest of the South Atlantic. It works in the same way as OSB in which you choose a unit (Whether it’s British or EU and whether its Army, Air Force or Navy). Me, Andcus and Path will provide you with objectives, maps for the area of operations etc and overall orders. You must work with the other commanders and units to get the job done. Outcomes for your actions will be decided by dice-rolls. This is done in a similar way to Domination in which you create a dice-roll table with several outcomes on it. For example, if enemy forces are sighted, you will do a dice-roll to see how many enemies are headed your way unless we tell you specifically. You will have to be realistic otherwise you will be kicked from this game after three strikes. We don’t want a bunch of Rambo’s running around single-handedly slaying anyone in their way. Once you choose your position then you must state your name, nationality (If you are part of the EU Force) and what weapons/vehicles your section will be using. In between operations, feel free to roleplay/ Remember you can choose what weapons and vehicles you use as long as it is real and relevant to your section. Once people join I will post a player list with what units they will be commanding. Myself, Finn and Andcus can also choose to play as one of the smaller units as well. So although I'm commander of the whole task force. I may fight some of the battles as A Company, 2. Para. Remember you can be a commander of whatever size unit you want. You can play as a platoon commander or a Regiment Commander it doesn't matter. So have fun and claim your spot. Unit List: Spoiler: click to toggle Any questions, just ask. Player List: -General Asher, Commander of Task Force (Path) - Major General Carleton, Commander of Ground Forces (Finn) - Admiral de Chabot, Commander of Naval Forces (Andcus) - Air Marshal Hammond, Commander of EAF (Cipher) - Major Vaughn, Commander of Special Forces (Comminsa) - Sgt Kidd, Pathfinder Platoon (Neil) - Map:

Major Vaughn Albion landing craft. The trip across the Atlantic had been hellish. "How the hell can those SBS guys take it?" asked Cpl Blenner. Vaughn grunted in agreement. The SBS had benn enjoying themselves thoroughly whilst the SAS had been stuck to the side railings like glue. It was apparent that the SBS were enjoying watching their more famous, but hardly better counterparts. But now that the fleet had arrived. Vaughn had started planning the eventual invasion with MAjor Brooklaw of the SBS. An armoured officer by the name of Reynolds came around the corner. "hey. You haven't seen a rather large guy with bandoliers have you? He's called Lt Lewis Little." he asked. "Nah sorry mate. Only guys in here are Spec ops." replied Cpt Thomason. "Oh. Thanks anyway." |

Air Marshal Fletcher Hammond European Airforce onboard the HMS Queen Elizabeth Air Marshall Hammond came up to the flight deck of the HMS Queen Elizabeth, watching the F-35 JSF's rising up readying for take off. Knowing that the Argentinians re-occupied the Falklands gave him a sense of responsibility. He would be supporting the operations that would liberate them for good from the "Argies".He thought it would be easy,as they dont have an airforce that can match the European one. But then something came up to his mind. The Argies were supported by the Venezuelans, who had nasty Russian weaponry, including some SU-30's.These could thretaen air superiority of the Europeans,so he had to be prepared for the worst. But he had some of the top pilots in Europe.Legendary Apache pilots from Greece, combat hardened from Afghan missions, veteran Chinnok pilots and highly proficient RAF pilots, accompained by French pilots on airafts they are used to. In all,Hammond liked his odds.Highly trained and battle hardened veterans on top-of-the line planes. The Argies alone had no chance at all. Edited by CipherTheCommadant, Oct 31 2009, 08:51 AM.

Sgt. Ryan Kidd HMS Albion ------------------------------- "Pass me the clutch plate Jack" Kidd shouted extending his arm out to take the part off of Cpl. Jack Roberson who was daydreaming, He quickly reached for the Plate and passed it down to the Sergeant "How did the twats burn out my bloody clutch what were they towing? A Chally?" Kidd laughed as porter was packing away his trolley "I don’t know mate I just bring the parts over the ship, A defender clutch is a pretty rare occurrence especially since the rest of us are using Jackals." He finished packing and walked down the bay, Ryan Slotted the plate into place and stood up examining the old clutch or what was left of it. "Christ... Jack put the engine back in for me mate I gotta go chew some loadies head off for this." Another porter walked down the bay this time he with a trolley. LCpl Ben Macleod ran over to him in glee "Yes my plates have arrived" He took the board from the porter and signed for the package "How long does it take you bastards to get parts out of a bay that’s what two floors down?" The porter ignored the remark and took his trolley away, Ben ripped at the packaging like a child at Christmas. "Kevlar Turret plate’s custom made too, these bad boys will stop a 7.62 from 20 yards" he heaved the 4 plates off the ground and placed them in the back of the WMIK. "Just need to weld these bad boys on" Saying that he ran off towards a group who had the only welder on dock and were putting up their own plates on a chally. "Yeah sure Ben go ahead." Ryan said sarcastically as he picked up some spray paint they used to put the triangles on the door panels, He sprayed on the one with the weapon cut-out. Gay penguins wanted "That'll teach the bastard to run off. Now that fucking loadie that used my landies for it…." |

Hammond checked at the intelligence report. He was horribly shocked. The Argies having Sukhoi fighters. That would be chaos.Hpwever,he had nothing else to worry about,as his men were battle hardened and he had the navy to top it off. He knew he had to put himself together. Soon however,he was called to a meeting and he took the Lynx to the Abion. Edited by CipherTheCommadant, Oct 30 2009, 09:28 PM.

But his gait was broken by an sailor who caught him by the arm and said meeting room C its urgent. A short walk down the ship later and he was at the meeting room he quickly scrambled to get his beret on. He walked in the room and saluted "Take a seat sergeant" a voice said Ryan took his chair and waited for the briefing to begin. |
