The Spanish counter-offensive goes very well. New tactics to combat the French have worked well- with defensive mountain positions being used to harass and attack French supply lines.

Stranded French Marines at St.Sebastian surrender without much more resistance, after being faced with deadly artillery and air fire. Over 2,000 are taken prisoner.

French forces near Pampalona are nearly cut off, with only a few small supply routes still open through the mountains.

Spanish forces, spearheaded by the airborne veterans of the Moroccan campaign make steady progress into France and they near Tolouse. Armoured support moves up to prepare for the next phase of the attack.

A secure beachhead is also made on Corsica. Supplies and reinforcements are brought ashore to continue the attack. The Marines who were stranded are taken off the line. Although only 20% of the originals return (The rest being killed or captured), they put up a very brave defence and enabled the invasion to succeed.

Spanish morale at home is at an all time high

Spanish forces continue to oversee the elections in western Sahara. Morocco is forced to give aid to Western Sahara.

The National Republican Guard is formed. They are basically made up of men and some women who are not serving in the armed forces. They are armed (With mostly older equipment) and trained to defend the areas in which they live from an invasion. They are also taught to use improvised weapons. The weapons stockpiles can only be opened with government permission however.

*French Air and Naval Units launch Operation Acid Rain*

*French bombers and Strike Aircraft hit the enemy forces that have flanked the French Armour near Pampalona, in an attempt to blow a hole in the encircling forces so that more reinforcements can be pushed through*

*French destroyers pound the new Spanish Marines that landed on Corsica, hoping to trap them between 2REP on Corsica and the naval firepower. Naval Strike Aircraft are launched off a French Aircraft carrier in a hope to sink the Amphibious Assault Carrier's which deployed the Marines*

*French Artillery fire on the advancing Spanish units who are en route to Tolouse, hoping to slow or halt their advance.*

1-3= Success. The bombing at Pampalona destroys the forces to the West and East that had flanked the Armoured Brigade, blasting a hole for reinforcements to come from France, probably enough to take the city. The Spanish Marines in Corsica are decimated, with over half their numbers being killed or wounded and all the AAC's being sunk by the strike aircraft. The Spanish units on route to Tolouse are halted by the artillery bombardment, giving the chance for French forces to counter-attack the formation.
4-5= Semi-Success. The bombing at Pampalona destroys the forces to the West and some to the East, allowing for some reinforcements to get through, enough to reinforce their position and push forward to Pampalona. The Spanish Marines in Corsica are badly damaged, with a third of their numbers being killed or wounded and half the AAC's being sunk by the strike aircraft. The Spanish units on route to Tolouse are halted, but not damaged enough to allow for a counter-attack.
6-7= Semi-Failure. The bombing of Pampalona damages the forces to the West but none to the east, allowing only for a few Regiment sized units to get through and help the Armour hold their position but not push forward. The Spanish Marines in Corsica are slightly damaged, with a quarter of their numbers being killed or wounded and 2 of their AAC's being sunk by the strike aircraft. The Spanish units on route to Tolouse, are slowed but not halted.
8-10= Failure. The bombing of Pampalona does little damage to any of the enemy forces and any more reinforcements will have to either come in Battalion strength through the remaining opening or will have to be air dropped. The Spanish Marines in Corsica are barely damaged, sustaining minimal casualties and only 1 AAC being damaged enough to have to leave the combat zone. The Spanish units on route to Tolouse are not slowed and carry on their advance.

The first ever President of Western Sahara is elected. However, he is pro-Spanish and is effectively a puppet anyway due to complete dependency on Spain for Aid and the training of armed forces. (Western Sahara= mine)
