When Hammond heard rumors that the new Mechanised Copmany from Wales shot one of their own, then surrounded some Danish officers and they nearly have beaten teh crap out of each other, the first responce to that was "Bullshit",but when his second in command Jeffery explained him, then he realised wghat happened.

"Jeffery, you and I are going to the FOB.Bring William,Stamford and Little with you in the Jackals."
"Yes,sir."

They took the Jackals and drove to the FOB.The moment they arrived, they could hear the noise from hetaed discussions in the Welsh company's tent.

And when he looked the tent where the Danes were, there were 3 guards with Light Machineguns.

At that point,Hammond disliked them.If he was to meet theirt commander,he better do it Hammond had better take some "protectors" with him.

Robinson sat behind his desk writing a report to Colonel Slater, his Commanding Officer back at Bastion. He had to explain to him why they're had been gunfire inside his FOB. Not only that, but this would probably lead to an investigation into the unit and would reflect badly on Robinson. That was unless he could establish that there was nothing that he could have done to avoid it, but for that to happen he had to talk to Hawkins and his men. It was at that moment that they walked in, the Major flanked by two of his men, one of whom he identified as the sniper who had shot the corporal.

"You wanted to see me, sir?" The Major asked cockily.

"Sit down please Major," Robinson replied cooly, not looking up from the report on his desk.

A few minutes of silence passed, with the Major sitting rather uncomfortably, with his two men standing on either side, both of whom looked even more uncomfortable. Finally Robinson finished his report and placed the pen down on the desk neatly, looking the Major straight in the eyes.

"Major Hawkins. Could you tell me, where Corporal Phillips is?"

The Major squirmed, knowing whatever he said couldn't dodge the question.

"He is in the Field Hospital at Camp Bastion," he replied slowly, unsure of where this was leading.

"Correct. Could you tell me, why he is there?"

Now Hawkins could see where this was leading and he would do everything he could to avoid that outcome.

"He has taken a gunshot wound to his right arm and has a broken jaw," Hawkins stated, in a rather matter of fact style.

"Correct again. Now could you tell me why he was shot in the arm?"

"Sergeant Winters shot the Corporal in the arm after he drew his firearm on me. The Sergeant only did this to stop the situation escalating," the Major replied.

He lies to my face, thought Robinson grimly. This could have been avoided so easily.

"Unfortunately for you Major. You are incorrect. It appears third time's the charm when it comes to finding out the truth. Now are you going to tell me what really happened? Or am I going to have to report to your Commanding Officer that you lied to your OC on the operation?"

The Major's jaw clenched and a vein stood out on his temple throbbing wildly, almost as if he was going to explode with rage at the accusation. A muscle in his neck bulged and his fists clenched, but the Lt. Colonel continued to sit calmly with his arms folded. Nothing could deter him from finding out the truth now.

"Sir. In my view Corporal Phillips was unstable and could not handle the pressure of an operational situation. I believe that is the reason he drew his sidearm and aimed at me. Not for any... external reasons," said the Major, lying through his teeth.

"Well if thats how your going to play it... fine. Captain Thomason... Sergeant Winters. You are dismissed. Return to your unit," Robinson said firmly. Both of the men looked uneasily at their CO who did not tear his eyes away from Robinson.

"Sir, with all due respect. I believe that anything you have to say to me, you can say infront of your men," he replied defiantly.

"That was an order Captain. Or do you wish to have disciplinary action taken against yourself aswell?"

Thomason and Winters needed no further encouragement. Hawkins may have been their CO but the Lt. Colonel was not only Battlegroup Commander but he was of higher rank than Hawkins anyway. It was one thing to go against the Major, it was another to go against a Battlegroup CO. They both briskly walked out the door and headed straight back to the company to tell them what had happened. It was only once the men were out of earshot that Robinson exploded with rage.

"WHAT KIND OF FUCKING UNIT ARE YOU COMMANDING! First you punch a man in the face because he has mixed feelings about why we are here and I'm sure he's not the first person to doubt it. But then! You refuse to offer First Aid to him when your soldier shot him and almost stopped Major Henriksen's men from treating and evacuating him. Would you care to explain yourself before I send you on the first flight back to Bastion?"

The Major bolted to his feet banging his fist on the desk, which did nothing to improve the state of his bruised knuckles.

"The man was gutless traitor! He didn't believe in the cause and was spreading negative morale among my men. I dealt with him and taught him some discipline," Hawkins growled. "If you should be shouting at anyone, it should be Winters. He shot the man for christ's sake!"

Robinson couldn't believe that this man was now trying to blame his Sergeant. He stood up, eyeballing the Major.

"And now you try to blame the man who saved your life after you escalated the argument. If he was causing a problem you should have sent him to me and if he refused to fight I would have sent him back to Britain and got you a replacement. You only made this situation worse!"

"Sir, if you could let me explain-"

"NO! I've heard enough of this nonsense. You will return to your unit, where you will inform them that because of your actions they will be on latrine duty for the next month, and will be running security for the FOB until I deem that you are fit for active operations. Is that clear?"

"Crystal.... Sir," Hawkins said. He stormed out the tent, kicking over his chair as he left the room.

Robinson let out a huge sigh of weariness.

So this is what war does to good men...

"You have got to be kidding me" said Winter as he heard the news.

"Unfortuanely yes. We're on Latrine duty." sighed Hawkins.

"Sorry sir. I should have made the shot look like an accident." moaned Winter "The humiliating thing was. I missed."

The whole command squad stared at him.

"You missed?" queried Thomason.

"I was aiming for his neck. I rushed the shot. It's so humiliating. ell you what sir. Let me.....persuade the Lt Colonel to take us off latrine duty." grinned Winter.

A moment of silence passed around the officers. Winter always was messed up. But he had never openly suggested.....persuading a superior officer.

"Your kidding right?" joked Thomason.

The grin on Winter's face showed otherwise.

Major Giles was having a shit and trying to enjoy his book when he heard the shot go off.

"What the fuck" he muttered to himself, hurrying to get out of the latrine.

Then he had heard all the shouts. Turned out Major Hawkins had punched one of his men who drew a gun on him. He was quickly shot by the company sniper. Plus, the Danes who had rushes in to help were nearly set upon by Hawkins boys. Bloody bad news is what that company was. Not only that, he got off very lightly; latrines for a month.

Giles remembered Hawkins back in Iraq- he seemed a quiet man back then, when he wasn't planning Op's or under fire. Something had definitely changed and Giles wasn't happy to have him, or his ill-disciplined and quite frankly psychotic company behind him.

Giles met up with his company CO's to discuss taking Giles worries straight to the top. Most of his men shared these worries- Giles wandered why Hawkins hadn't been immediately discharged and the whole company put under investigation.

"Yes Colonel Slater, I understand but.... No I do realise the importance of this operation... Yes we know how much power he posesses... Well of course it is my intention to take him out... Sir he put up more resistance than expected... Because this isn't the best time for us with the whole Hawkins incident... Use him in the op? Surely you can't be... Yes sir... Very good sir... Right away."

Robinson slammed the phone down.

"Fuck!"

"Everything ok sir?"

"No Richards it's not. Slater wants us to launch a full offensive on the farmed area to the West where Rafal Jazad is holding up with his Taliban friends. What's worse he says it has to be now, because he's specially got us some air support for us," he sighed.

"So what? We get air support all the time," said Captain Richards in a bemused tone.

"No, he's got us a Spectre gunship on call."

"Shit. He must have pulled some strings," said Richards thoughtfully.

"Mhmm. Whats worse he says I've got to use all the assets at my disposal... That includes Echo Company," Robinson sighed.

"You mean Hawkins?"

"Oh yeah... That includes them. Well nothing I can do about it... Pass me the radio."

"This is Sunray, To Charlie One Zero, Delta One Zero and Echo One Zero. We've been tasked to launch a full offensive on Rafal Nazad and his men to the West. Our orders are to take him out at all costs, and because of this we've been leant an AC-130 Spectre Gunship for the night, callsign Steel Rain. Delta One Zero is OC for this Op and he'll be the one drawing up the plan, I advise the three commanders to meet and discuss how your going to do it. Over and Out."

Major Henriksen quickly gathered his Platoon commanders and ordered them to start warming up the vehicles and prepare the men.

Then he got his side-arm, made sure it wasnt loaded. Then took a magazine in his pocket to bring along.
He then walked over towards Major Giles' tent, passing some of the British Armour on the way, none of them looked happy.

Giles heard the news. They were going back West where they lost Connors and Rabuku. In some ways he was looking forward to getting back out there- things had hotted up here in the FOB and he wanted to be away from it all. It also gave them a chance to get back at Jazad.

Giles spotted Major Henriksen approaching. He was looking forward to working with the Danes. On the other hand, he was dreading working with his Echo Company- his own countrymen. Still, it was best not to let these things get in the way out on the field.

Henriksen and Giles exchanged a few words and sat in silence waiting for Hawkins- neither of them were too fond of him to say the least.

+Copy that Sunray. Oh and sir. Thanks for the chance.+

The Major had a smile on his lips.

+All units. I want full battle alert in 10 minutes. All vehicles are to be prepped and ready.+

The Major than walked over to the Officers.

"Allright listen up. These are the men i'm taking to OC for discussions. Watson, Winter, Thomason, Maclaren and George." ordered Hawkins.

"What about the new officers sir? Little, Stamford and Reynolds?" asked Thomason.

"They'll be prepped later. Ask them to prepare the men."

The feeling around the room was one of joy. They would finaly be getting some revenge.

"I know the last time we were here a lot of nerves were broken and a lot of good men died. Let's not let them down today." sighed Hawkins.

Today debts will be payed and revenge will be taken. The Tigers will reign supreme once again.....

"Allright! Move out!"
With Major Henriksens command, 1st and 2nd Platoon marched out of the FOB.
3rd Platoon was still in the town acting as garrisson force, since the ANA garrison hadnt shown up yet.

They were going through the farmland to the west, hopefully luring Terry out to play.

"This is Sunray to Operational Elements. Red Light, I repeat Red Light. Halt all movements. The ANA have cocked up our plan by deciding their garrison force will come and start guarding Majal now. Operation is postponed till further notice. Over."
