Sergei went out of the truck. He looked at all of his tanks and artillery behicles. He checked them and kept them on constant readyness. He loved tanks. That runs on his family. His grandfather was a T-34 commander. His father was a tank drill instructor.Today he was going to check the tanks, inspecting them one by one.He wouldnt attack anyone for the moment, but he had to make sure that his men were ready for anything. He found his men in great shape, mental helath, great morale and high readyness. He was happy.Thta gave him confidence. Edited by CipherTheCommadant, Aug 5 2009, 05:36 PM.

99inf. battalion brigadier general Patton we arrived at the site apx 0600 in our m113s after briefing the men. i set up in the back with the field artillery to watch and give orders, the men were given live ammo and the field artillery were in great position to take out some infantry the tanks were set up in special positions along the entrenchment in tank "foxholes" where the gun was only able to swizzle but the rest of the tank was in cover with a back and a front entrance. the infantry carrying stingers were set up elsewhere and a scouting team was assembled to scout the area |

Sergei took the map. Eastern Berlin had many exposed areas where the tanks could operate effectively. The tanks would widen their fromation,so as to extend the "firepower in case of an assault.".Then,he ordered his artillery to move to 4 strategic areas, fortified for sfatey. From his 7 tank companies, the 2 would be at the North and South flanks. After the plan,he took a car and it took him to the command outpost,at the ouskirts of Eastern Berlin. He gave the plan to the Major General. |

As Smithson walked the through the tents and warehouses that housed his men and vehicles. He recalled how damn tense things were becoming. "Not as simple as D-Day hey sir." commented Smithson's second in command. They had both started off as an officer and his commanding NCO. They had both scaled the ladders and finally arrived at Berlin with their respective ransk. "Nope. But then it never was. Was it Little?" grinned Smithson. "No. Not really. But there is one thing which is fact. I smell Commies." snarled Little. |

(from now on, messages from your superiors will arrive over PM's to you) BBC: February 2nd, 1989 Only a few days into President H.W. Bush's term as the President of the United States, he faces his first real crisis. The Soviet Union has announced that its mission in Afghanistan will continue for at least another 5 years even though they had promised to withdraw. Soviet Premier Gorbachev announced that this was due to the recent incident in the Guld of Sidra, where US Navy fighters shot down 2 Libyan military aircraft. Premier Gorbachev viewed this as a US attempt to further influence the region. High level talks are still going on between the US and the Soviet Union but it seems now that we are approaching the final showdown between the two superpowers. Now to Sally with the sports..... STARTING ATTRIBUTES: URBAN WARFARE: -1 to rolls about tanks in the narrow Berlin streets (doesnt count in open parks etc) "SORROUNDED" -1 to all NATO offensive rolls. "AIR SUPERIORITY COMRADE" +1 to all Warsaw Pact rolls made in open grounds such as parks etc. |
