You didn't include in your roll that 100,000 german troops surrendered. You can't go making up numbers. Don't do it again.

Well you were launching a full-scale offensive on Paris, so I figured an attack like that would probably have involved upwards of 100,000. How many troops did I surround?

French forces use the lull in the fighting to regroup and rearm. Repairs to the Maginot line are made, and additional fortifications, especially more AA batteries to combat German Blitzkrieg tactics are added.

A new and revolutionary fighting force is being created by France. It is made up entirely of volunteers and they will train to operate in small groups behind enemy lines in raids and other such missions. They are also trained in airborne and naval deployment. They are named the Special Commando Brigade.

France also creates a new unit in the case of a German invasion. They are taken from reserves and non-front line nits and trained to work in small groups of 10-15 in occupied territories. They have small underground hideouts in areas from which the selected soldiers are from so they know the land well. They are taught to target high ranking officers and other important targets such as convoys and railroads, as well as trained in guerrilla warfare. The bases are given enough food for 3 weeks (How long they are expected to live) in the case of an invasion, as well as cyanide pills in the case of captured.

Small teams from the Special Commando Brigade land into German and Greek occupied territories to aid and train resistance groups (Similar to what the SAS did later on in WW2).

^o) Invasion? Where did I mention invasion. If you are talking about the operatives helping out resistance groups- that happened throughout the war. It is fairly easy to get a small team of 3 or 4 into an area- the SAS were doing it since 1942. There were plenty of resistance groups against the German invaders (Some were highly successful, some not so successful)

Anyways:

The French plan is put into action:

The 7th Army attacks Belgium from the West, while the 3rd attacks it from the South

1-3= Success. Brussels is taken and the Germans are forced into the East of Belgium
4-6= Failure. French forces halted outside Brussels
7-8= Success. Brussels is over-run and the vast majority of Belgium is taken in a blitzkrieg style assault. Small pockets of resistances remain in the West
9-10= Failure. French forces gain only several miles with very heavy casualties reminiscent of WW1

The assault is a success. French forces quickly surround and seize Brussels- taking the Germans by surprised with the speed and ferocity of the blitzkrieg style assault.

French forces then drive West, using the newly formed French 79th Airborne Commando Division for the first time.

German forces remain in the West of the country, but the rest of Belgium is firmly secured with great support from the local population.

So, flying over Germany to Poland and Czechoslovokia is just as simple as walking over to the nearest coffeeshop, eh? So this means I can fly spies and sabotures into France without rolling for it too, eh?

I assumed you already had spies in France (Pretty much goes without saying)

I demand a map update, furthermore I believe we have the right to deny you a ceasefire.

* Forces consolidate positions and move the German Garrison of Greenland and Iceland into POW camps *

* Victory's by the French, the BEF, in Africa and with the surrender of Iceland and Greenland provide a huge boost to morale *

* Winston Churchill makes a speech *

On Friday evening last I received from His Majesty the mission to form a new administration. It was the evident will of Parliament and the nation that this should be conceived on the broadest possible basis and that it should include all parties. I have already completed the most important part of this task.

A war cabinet has been formed of five members, representing, with the Labour, Opposition, and Liberals, the unity of the nation. It was necessary that this should be done in one single day on account of the extreme urgency and rigor of events. Other key positions were filled yesterday. I am submitting a further list to the king tonight. I hope to complete the appointment of principal ministers during tomorrow.

The appointment of other ministers usually takes a little longer. I trust when Parliament meets again this part of my task will be completed and that the administration will be complete in all respects. I considered it in the public interest to suggest to the Speaker that the House should be summoned today. At the end of today's proceedings, the adjournment of the House will be proposed until May 21 with provision for earlier meeting if need be. Business for that will be notified to MPs at the earliest opportunity.

I now invite the House by a resolution to record its approval of the steps taken and declare its confidence in the new government.

The resolution:

"That this House welcomes the formation of a government representing the united and inflexible resolve of the nation to prosecute the war with Germany to a victorious conclusion."

To form an administration of this scale and complexity is a serious undertaking in itself. But we are in the preliminary phase of one of the greatest battles in history. We are in action at many other points-in Norway and in Holland-and we have to be prepared in the Mediterranean. The air battle is continuing, and many preparations have to be made here at home.

In this crisis I think I may be pardoned if 1 do not address the House at any length today, and I hope that any of my friends and colleagues or former colleagues who are affected by the political reconstruction will make all allowances for any lack of ceremony with which it has been necessary to act.

I say to the House as I said to ministers who have joined this government, I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many months of struggle and suffering.

You ask, what is our policy? I say it is to wage war by land, sea, and air. War with all our might and with all the strength God has given us, and to wage war against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed in the dark and lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy.

You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs - Victory in spite of all terrors - Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival.

Let that be realized. No survival for the British Empire, no survival for all that the British Empire has stood for, no survival for the urge, the impulse of the ages, that mankind shall move forward toward his goal.

I take up my task in buoyancy and hope. I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men. I feel entitled at this juncture, at this time, to claim the aid of all and to say, "Come then, let us go forward together with our united strength."

* A new war cabinet is formed with highly experienced and qualified individuals, finally replacing the old cabinet of Neville Chamberlain *

* Begins new intensive training for the BEF and for all reserve, regular and conscripted troops *

* Prime Minister Winston Churchill sends a telegraph to ------ *

* Begins mass production of Arms and needed Equipment *

* Operation Blue Bird continues *

1 - 4 British Forces make expected progress against overstretched, under equipped and demoralised Italian forces, retaking a quarter of Somalia and half of Ethiopia
5 - 8 British Forces make moderate progress against the under equipped, though corageous, Italian defenders. 20 miles of Somalia are taken along with a quarter of Ethiopia
9 - 10 British Forces are held back by stiff Italian Resistance which is expected to collapse in days due to lack of ammo, reinforcements and gasoline. 10 miles of Somalia is taken, 20 miles of Ethiopia
