The offensive is a great success. Brussels and much of the East of Belgium are over-run. The remaining German forces in the West start to become under-supplied and supply-lines thin. Over 24,000 Germans, mainly from the Brussels garrison, are captured. ![]() French in Indochina soldiers begin the journey to Africa, and then Europe and begin to construct 3 ships from the new blueprints Logging Off Edited by Finn 1939, Jul 22 2009, 05:25 PM.

Well I figured that they would be running short of supplies as they have been fighting constantly in the Netherlands, and then Belgium before launching an offensive into France, then being pushed back, and then having only a narrow corridor from which to send supplies through. *Continues to fund resistance movements in conquered German territory* French forces attempt to take the remainder of Belgium: 1-3= Success. French forces take Belgium and the German army their surrenders. 4-5= Success. Belgium is completely over-run and Rotterdam in the Netherlands is also taken 6-8= Failure. Most of Belgium taken. However, the German army remains in the West- although it is surrounded. 9-10= Failure. French forces pushed back to Brussels with heavy casualties. You rolled a: 4! |

Belgium is overrun and the German Army in the West surrenders. Nearly 80,000 POW's are taken. ![]() French forces also push into Netherlands and begin their liberation by successfully taking Rotterdam. The people of the newly liberated territory take to the streets in joy. Casualties in the 7th Armies offensive in Belgium and the Netherlands total about 81,000, 33,000 of which are dead. The 7th Army holds the line in the new territory. The 4th Army moves from Northern France to deal with the German threat in Alsace-Lorraine while the BEF continues to hold the line with the 7th. |
