I found the second installment fun but i was frustrated by 2 factors: -The limited ability of support (i mean numbers and fuel, with fuel the most frustrating) -the limited duration of the storyline. |

I agree with DNA, Avatar is the best! Tho not sure about the mating... they mate with their ponytails it appears ![]() I like the idea Wiiper, the reason it will work better than Wetwork is because it doesn't require a main figure (me) to give out missions. Although I did make the longest post in RPG history for these forums. |

Here ar the rules of City Warfare: - There will be events occuring every Friday regardless of the current situation in the game - eg. A massive war. - The game is limited to 12 factions. When you wish to claim one, Tell me which area, Who your leader is, what your faction name is. - You must roll to see if a sector joins your faction by negotiation = One territory per every 8 hours - Every area has resources so each one is worth conquering however some areas are more valuable because of special items. - Each area that has an army base gets military vehicles of high quality,an airfeild for aircraft and a naval yard for high quality ships. But they will need to either construct or capture a training camp. - Roll for invasions against other players. Try to make the rolls interesting and also try to make normal invasions on NPCs interesting too and not just take the entire place in 1 second. No invasions on people who are offline, however a single missile strike or rocket attack is acceptable - but only 1. - For every 4 territories you own you may build a special building - 1 per territory. If you form a joint government and unify two sectors with an ally ( like the NWR from Endwar Domination ) then both of your territories go to that count. The buildings which can be constructed are : Tunnel Complex Radio Equipment MG nests booby traps Tactical bases (tents, sandbags and tank barriers, along with concentina wire) Energy bases Garages Houses huts hideouts munition depots bunkers Training camp Unconstructable buildings Schools Orphanages Airports Military bases (Army bases,AFB's and Naval Bases) Hospitals Police Stations Restaurants Shipyards Athletic centers Gyms -Since the cities are at war there will be many ruined buildings, dead bodies and abandoned vehicles. They can be recovered by a recon team and used to add the current number of weapons in your army. -There will be recources, which are very important to run a rebellion. The recources are: Manpower Ammunition Guns Oil Vehicles Morale -Training is important for your forces. There are different types of soldiers and different types of training available to each soldier group. Conscripts:Emlisted troops who are trained poorly. The most moralised troops and possibly the most numbered, but their effectiveness is only as good as cannon fodder. There are 3 training regimes for conscripts: -1 week basic training - No failure rates but very low effectiveness -2 weeks basic training - No failure rates but low effectiveness -5 weeks basic training - No failure rates but medium effectiveness Regulars:These guys are the normally trained troops. There are 3 different training regimes for regulars: -7 weeks Basic Training - Low failure rates but lower effectiveness -9 weeks Basic Training - Medium failure rate and medium effectiveness -1 week selection,12 weeks Basic Training - High Failure rates but higher effectiveness. Commandos:They are the elite rebels.Masters of hit & run tactics. They never surrender and they never quit. But they need the proper training. There are 3 training regimes for Commandos: -5 weeks selection,25 weeks basic training -Medium Failure rates but High Effectiveness -5 weeks selection,30 weeks basic training -High Failure rates but Very High Effectiveness -5 weeks selection,40 weeks basic training - Very High Failure Rates but Outstanding effectiveness -Superweapons can only be made with blueprints from a city hall or science center and by a factory. There is only 1 superweapon available to you,and that's: Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP):EMP is a weapon that can destroy electonics in a wide area.If one is used on a ground,a territory will become blacked out.All electonics will cease to function and all vehicles in that area are to stop. More to come soon. |

Haha plus they're all badass bitches that can kill as easily as you can AND they're very athletic ![]() @Cipher: It's very good and some very nice rules in terms of construction and troops training, but what I want to know is how you will enforce that rule so that better trained troops have an advantages. You might need to make it so that on each one when you reach the 3rd phase of training you get 1+ on your dice roll. Then again that still won't compensate for the fact commandos should be better than conscripts even at basic level. Also you say there is selection but are you going to make people have to roll for selection? |

No.depending on how many weeks of training there are,the failure rates will be even higher,so you will get less recruits. And no,you musnt roll for selection. Explain what you said (and i have pointed in bold),because i have to undertstand. |

I kinda think it is too specific and complicated. Not enough elbow room in you know what I mean. |

That is why I suggest US Civil War (if its acceptable),because of the complicity of City Warfare. Basically, city warfare is interesting but that is why I posted it here;to get any possible ideas so as to make it less complicated as possible. |
