Duke & Templars: Imperium Absolution; A new kind of RPG

Duke & Templars: Imperium Absolution
Duke & Templars: Imperium Absolution is a new RPG designated for the Knight Europa Gaming Community, anyone who wishes to port this game to another community may do so, but take heed that it may not be as effective as this game is based around the Knights Europa Community.

Duke & Templars: Imperium Absolution is similiar to past RPG's and even incorporates them into this new concept RPG. Anyone else who has played the Knights Europa's unique RPG's will feel comfortable playing this game. However some significant changes have been made to the games and so rules should be read and understood.

The most significant change to the RPG is that there will be no more dice roles, instead battles shall be decided by actually playing them in one of Creative Assemblies total war games. Due to the fact that this game is based in the 18th century (1700's) Empire Total War is the optimum choice (If a player does not have ETW then exceptions can be made which will be talked about later).

Game Map Rules:

There is a max on the size of armies, which is 3 at the start (from your home territory) For each territory you own you will be able to raise 2 more armies. If you capture a major home city you will be able to raise 3 armies. Each army takes 48 days to raise per territory. For example if you Hold Italy and France then it will take 48 hours to raise 2 armies. Each army is 45 000 men (or one full stack in the total war games). If you combine 2 armies it still counts as 2 armies.

Edit to rules: Each colony can have one army. Only one because of a lower poplation density

You may attack someone else at any time.

Casualties reflect, if your army is half dead it will take a day to repair and refill, as well experience reflects. If your unit has 3 exp it will be have 3 exp in the campaign map.

If you blockade a port it will take an additional day to build a fleet for the one who is being blockaded.

There will be no offline attacks

When fighting another army both players must be online, and then fight in the Total War game exceptions will be presented later). If you are fighting with an ally all players must be in the battle.

If you have 2 armies in a battle a 3rd person must fight as the second army.

In naval battles there are a few options.
- If both have ETW a naval battle can be played out
- If the first option is not possible then:
a) you may ask other people to fight the battle for you
b) roll

Exceptions:
If you don’t have ETW you may use the common total war game between the players. For example if player1 had ETW and RTW and Player 2 only has RTW they may battle using RTW with relative armies to the campaign map.

If you don’t share a common game one player may ask another 3rd person to fight the battle for him/her
ex: player 1& 2 don’t share a common game, but player 3 and 1 both have ETW. Player 2 may ask Player 3 to fight to battle for him/her, If you dont own a total war game at al you may ask someone else to fight your battle, if they comply.

I was once a Pretorian, I was once a writer, I was once child, I was once a fighter.

Im overjoyed to see all of you still keeping the Pretorian dream alive despite all the hardships that have come upon this community. I may not be a Pretorian anymore, but I dont think the Pretorians even exist anymore. What does exist is an outstanding group of individuals who continue to uphold the values that forged the Pretorian Division.

Good to see you guys.

Very good guys, We can start now. Now I do ask that if anyone can find or make a better map, please tell me so that I may use it...This map isn tvery good at all. If someone else would like to be the map maker please be my guest. As well if I am missing any colonies please tell me so that I may add them.

Edit to rules: Each colony can have one army. Only one because of a lower poplation density
