What happened in the last 10 pages?

Just about everyone is trying to attack slayer becuase he fought a naval battle in the Atlantic against Prussia who was trying to attack his ally. Even though everyone signed a peace-agreement with his ally, for some reason everyone has continued to attack him (Not usually how diplomacy worked in this period but whatever). I can understand why Prussia may have continued the war, just not every else.

Jealous of the mighty (And non-existent) British empire I guess ;)

@finn: well seeing that Prussia is my ally (and duke's) it makes a lot of sense to continue the war.

Britain didn't even declare war on Prussia, it was the other way around. Yes Britain attacked a Prussian fleet who attacking the FSA's fleet in a completely different war thousands of miles away, and not only that, that war is now over, its not really much of a reason to carry on a war for 10 years or so (Seeing as Wiiper fast-forwarded the time).

Not too bothered though, doesn't effect me to much, just thought it was a bit of a pitiful reason for all out war.

The Japanese navy and marines move in to crush pirate groups and secure an area for the approaching army

The 40,000 strong Japanese force launches its invasion of the divided and generally weak Indonesia following its independence from the Netherlands and Britain. Much of it is split into different ethnic and indigenous groups.

The invasion of Borneo starts. The terrain and climate prove to be the biggest obstacles.

Borneo is taken after several long weeks. Again, disease is the biggest killer amongst the Imperial Armies.

Japanese forces then begin the conquest of Sumatra, and Japanese Marines do most of the fighting on the smaller islands to the east.

Sumatra is taken, and Japanese Marines are making steady progress in the East. The main Japanese force launches its attack of Java, the most heavily populated island.

Progress is tough, but Japanese forces continue to make steady progress.

He seeks to continue Japans Imperialist ambitions.

Korea is fully annexed by Japan. It is no longer a mere puppet state, but part of Japanese territory. The Korea Emperor flees but is captured. He is allowed to remain in charge of Korea. Several riots are put down by Japanese soldiers.

All people in Japanese territory are forced to swear a new oath to the Emperor.

A new propaganda campaign is started, trying to increase Japanese Nationalism and show off Japans power and influence to its people. The propaganda often cites the ways of the old Samurai who were prepared to lay down their lives for the Emperor as a good role model.

With the new Emperor on the throne, the Japanese forces renew their Indonesian offensive with new conviction.

Japanese arms industry is booming thanks to the new influx of resources from Japanese campaigns. The Japanese economy is doing well in general, and the massive Chinese reparations have done much to boost the economy and speed up industrialization.
