A large explosion in Japanese held Port Arthur occurs![]() Japan blames Chinese dissidents for the attacks. To make matters worse, Japan claims that China blockaded several Japanese ships from entering the Yangtze River, breaking their cease-fire deal. Japan once again declares war on China. With the Chinese Navy already almost practically destroyed from the previous war, and Chinese forces still largely demoralized, Japan seeks to take advantage of this. A Japanese fleet sails down to Taiwan to defend its interests there, while the other sails into the Yellow sea. The 60,000 strong Imperial Army marches down from Manchuria with the Chinese defenders crumbling before them. A large Chinese force retreats to Beijing where the Japanese Army engages them is fierce fighting. ![]() Meanwhile, the 30,000 strong Japanese force sails from Korea and lands at Yantai (On a little peninsula south of Beijing) with the Japanese navy covering them. The Battle of Beijing moves into full swing. Most of China's Northern Army is at stake, but their leadership is poor and their supplies are dwindling as the 30,000 Imperial Army in the south helps stop supplies and reinforcements arriving from Nanjing and Shanghai. 1-3= Japanese forces seize Beijing and the Northern Army is defeated 4-5= Japanese forces seize Beijing and the Northern Army is annihilated. The southern army seizes Jinan. 6-8= Japanese forces manage to narrowly defeat the Chinese army, but Beijing remains in Chinese hands 9-10= Japanese forces are beaten and they withdraw back into Manchuria. Imperial forces march into Beijing and take the north unopposed![]() Meanwhile, in the south, the 30,000 strong force seizes Jinan. The path is cleared for Japanese forces to march onto the capital of Nanjing. In the south, another 40,000 strong Japanese force is landed near Hong Kong after sailing from Taiwan and they push towards the city largely unopposed. *Russian forces reach Nanjig. There are still 2 regiments of Chinease conscripts in the way but the Howitzers start to pummel the capital. Russian calvalry charge down the hillside directly at the awaiting Conscripts. At the same time. Skirmishers charge into the melee behind the conscripts.* 1-3 Russian forces inflict severe casulaties but have to pull back due to overwhelming numbers. 4-6 Russian forces destroy one regiment 7-10 Russian forces destroy both regiments. ![]() You rolled a: 3! |

*Russian forces pull back and pummel the rest of the soldiers into submission. The conscripts surrender.* *The City of Nanjing is pummeled to the extreme. The Russian forces offer the chance of Unconditional surrender.* odd numbers- Chinease accept even numbers-Chinease refuse *The rifleman scope comes into service. Now every 1 out of 5 men are equipped with them. Generally for the Riflemen regiments. Since the scopes are better for squad warfare.* You rolled a: 8! |
