6 IFV's went up in flames, much to the delight of the men. 4 of the missiles missed, but two of them landed amidst the Kirk.

"Sunray, this is Hawk 6. We have about 300 men and 14 IFV's headed our way. Requesting strafing run on grid-squares Alpha 6, 3, 0. Over"

Strafing run damage

1-2) Run is a horrible miss

3-5) Fighters take out about 2 IFVs and about 2 sqauds of men.

6-7) The strafing run is able to take out half of the IFVs and about 3 platoons.

8-9)Strafing run leaves only several men scattered about

10) Perfect run almost all enemies are killed but a few stragglers remain.

"Rat 6, two sqauds of Apaches are on the way to Grid Sqaure G4."

1-3) Half of the choppers are shot down but a few remain damaged.

4-6) Choppers make it to the co-ordinates and are able to take out large concentrations of enemies.

7-9)Apaches take out most enemies but a couple sqauds remain in fortified buidlings.

10) The two chopper sqauds are able to take out all targets.

The marines had managed to pass down the river unnoticed by the kirks. Just as well, no casualties and no warning. Colonel King signaled his troops to prepare to land.

He could see it now, the river and the city. Smoke fliing the air as choppers and fighters danced through it. Gunfire spring from all sides. Then he saw the paratroopers.

The craft approached the beaches .... still unnoticed.

The pilot signalled 10 seconds til beachhead.

The Colonel ran it through his head. Beach landing, sieze the city, support the paratroopers. Everyone goes home happy. How simple he had just made it.

3 seconds til beachhead.

The Colonel looked at the beaches, still no enemy fire. Had they really managed to pull it off ? Did they actually sneak up the entire river without being noticed ? even here ?

Beachhead.

The door infront of the Colonel burst open and the troops ran from their ships up the beaches. That was when the enemy appeared. 86 men had just ran from the city and were approaching them. Armour would likely follow. Gusnhots rang out as several of the kirks collapsed and a marine fell back in his run.

The Colonel raised his rifle and emptied a magazine at the kirks. Another 2 fell over as more gunshots sprang in all directions.

1 - 3 Marines manage to press on with about 3 dead and 12 wounded
4 - 6 Marines advance but the korean armour moves up to support the kireans. Forces stalled.
7 - 9 Marines advance but are caught in an ambush and suffer heavy casualties. 49 dead, 83 wounded
10 Marines press forward and take out the Korean force. They take the beach and realise that no reinforcements are arriving

Richardson watched the force go up in flames before his eyes. The men were going wild. He looked through the smoke and saw only 4 IFV's, and possibly 80 men. They would be no problem.

Behind him, the fighting had intensified. He wanted to help, but his orders were to remain.

"Well. better them than me." Commented the Colonel. "they're not really flying tanks! Ah well. All units. converge on the Ciy square. Leave straggalers for the Paras."
1-4 Tanks make it to square with 3 casualties
5-7 Tanks make to square with 2 casualties
8-10 Tanks make it their intact
