OOC: Edited spelling mistakes dont worry about the roll, it is that bad ----- "Shit" Okse muttered. The kirk Brigadier was sorrounded by at least 50 heavily armoured men. The workers on the dam all stood around him. It could actually help Okse in accomplishing the task. The Jægers split up and placed the explosives. There werent many men around as they were focused on either protecting, or impressing the Brigadier. After 5 minutes of heavy work, the H6 was set up. It would make short work of the dam wall, opening it up in several places. Nature would do the rest. H6 was normally used for underwater explosives like Torpedoes and Mines. So it was good to use on the dam. The men moved back and narrowly avoided detection as 3 civilians were heading for the break room. But they all eventually appeared on top of the dam again. Here, the men were finished sliding H6 down the side of the dam and into the water. They would reinforce the already placed explosives. After going over the checklist again. Okse and the others ran towards the rally point. He checked his watch. "Mark!" A young Sergeant pressed the detonator. Hyesan and the nearby country-side was lightened up by a fireball. Water rumbled down the valley. Jensen watched as the KPA garrison awakened and then hurried out. Hyesan was far enough away to not get washed away. But was still knee-high in the streets. Okse had done a superb job. Jensen and his Jægers moved into Hyesan, 1-2: A large KPA garrison still remains 3-7: Most of the KPA soldiers have left for the dam, leaving only the bridge guards and the AA crew 8-10: Nearly all KPA soldiers leave Hyesan You rolled a: 6! |

Okse hurried over to the rally point. Only to see several KPA soldiers running towards the Jægers. "Allright, we are going straight to russia" Okse and his men lay in cover as the Kirks ran past them. Then they dropped all unnecessary equipment and started moving North. ------- Nielsø and his men watched the explosion. Then turned their attention to the Chinese Garrison. They had allready boarded their vehicles and were ready to move into Hyesan to support the KPA. Nielsø took the first shoot. Eliminating a Tank commander. Then the unit opened up on the unsuspecting Chinese ------------ Jensen placed a C4 right on the tube of the AA cannon. That would silence it good. His men were already finishing their work on the bridge. He could hear gunfire in Chinese territory. Nielsø was doing his work. "Charges set. Clear the bridge" Jensen saw KPA soldiers returning. They had overstayed their welcome. "This is Nimrod-6 to all units. RP is no go. Hike straight away" |

Captain Denton and the Pathfinders had been scouting out the area around the target and keeping a permanent eye on the objectives for 2 days. It was pretty boring, mundane work in Denton's book. They had had a few close calls, but so far were still completely unnoticed by the Kirk. They already had the key targets pin-pointed and were waiting for the order to call in the air-strikes. ------------------------------------------------------- Richardson's plan had been approved, and he had spent several hours briefing his men and getting them prepared. He was now in the command room listening to reports from Cpt.Denton and his Pathfinders. So far so good it seemed. D Company would be going in first, with A and C close behind for support. B was sitting out- they had taken the most casualties since arrival, and, even with replacements, were undermanned. Y would also be sitting it out as their special weapons would not be needed. A and Y would however be on stand-by in case things went wrong, which they often did. Richardson left to his barracks to get some final rest before the mission. |

The crew of tank no.142 sat in the open waiting for the go. They could see some paras skulking about through the binoculars. "Think this will be a push over sir?" asked trooper Carmine. "The Koreans know we're here now. This will be like walking through crystal palace on guy fawks night. Apart from the fireworks will be munitions." replied Cpt Little. Soon. The plan will be initiated. "So your telling me that some of those T-80's have been upgraded!" Shouted the Colonel in his command Tent. "I could have really have used that info a couple of days ago!!" The intelligence officer shifted unconfortably. He had come down from Head Quarters to tell the colonel personally. Not a good idea, he decided. "Now i've got T-80's that can nearly go toe to toe with my challengers!" shouted the colonel. After the final outburst he stormed outside of the tent to go and see these tanks for himself. |
