"Why can't that guy just play the game that we all have to play..." Asher muttered to himself, walking out his room and towards the Ops Room. Asher didn't want to confront him publicly so he needed to do something to stop him before he fucked up a very important operation and ruined the whole point of it being deniable. He strode into the Ops Room, and confronted the Head of Communication in the base, a man called Major Fallop.

"Major, I need a favor... and I need it to stay private. Do you think you can help me out?"

"Well I dunno sir," he said, looking puzzled at the request. "What exactly is it you need?"

"Well. An operation of very sensitive subject is in risk of compromise, unless I make sure some people don't start blurting things around."

The Major now wore a knowing smile.

"I see, and you want me to make sure this certain person doesn't do anything that would compromise this... Operation?"

"Exactly," Asher said nodding. "Now I want you to record all phone and radio transmissions made by Colonel William Reynolds and report to me if they are to Colonel Lewis of the 3rd Task Force. Can you do that?"

"Yes that shouldn't be too difficult," Fallop replied.

"Oh just one more thing. Send a message to Colonel Lewis from me saying that, If anyone asks about SAS troopers in his task force that he is to say 20 of them have been sent on a recon mission with the Danish Special Forces to Pyongyang. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir, I'll have it done straight away. Is that all?"

"Yes Major and thanks once again... but don't mention this conversation to anyone. Goodbye."

Asher walked out the Ops Room, hoping the situation was under control.

"You know sir. I don't think we should be doing this." said stamford
"We did it in Northen Ireland when we though that Colonel had gone AWOL." replied the colonel. "Just to make sure though. I want you to contact the MOD. I need to pull up some files on the Jag commander."
"What about Colonel Richardson sir?" asked Stamford
"You know what. Pull up the files on the Field Marshal, Colonel and Major. Let's just hope it won't turn out like Northen Ireland." replied the Colonel
"Aye sir. Let's hope." said Stamford.
Outside. Engraved on the Command Tank. Were the names of the 5 men who were killed by an IRA suicide bomb. The bomber had been the AWOL colonel.

Jensen and his men arrived at the port.
There was a small ship waiting for them. It was an Amphibious assault ship, only it didnt have the choppers on it.
There stood 3 An-2's. Jensen smiled for the first time since they left, the field marshal had been able to get them any way. Nielsø joined the Major up at the front of the men. "do you think anyone at home suspects?" Nielsø looked worried.
"Probably all of them, but hopefully they got enough brains to leave it at that. They know what would happen if they were to find out and reveal it". Surely the leaders understood the words: Operational Security.
If anybody revealed that they had knowledge of the Operation. And told it to the other men.
Chances were that someone that wasnt supposed to know, would find out.
And that could cause casulties for the Jægers.
If Jensen found out that he had lost men because someone couldnt keep their mouth shut, He would kill them himself.

The Naval commander greeted them and told them to get onboard.
He didnt know who they were or what they were going to do. He only had his orders.
"We need to hurry. The Air Force are fueling the bombers right now"
And like that, the ship slipped unoticed out of the harbor, and headed north.

King was in on his computer when the knocks came at the door. He had been reveiwing the city for hours. Discarded and then remade then discarded then begun from scratch an entirely new set of plans which were all likely to fail. The only thing within the city that would help him was the crane but that was smak in the middle of town. He closed the files and went from his chair to the door. He unlocked the door after a few seconds of moving various latches and swung open the door. Colonel Drako was standing in the hall.

"Ah .... Colonel Drako. Is there anything I can help you with ?" he asked as the Colonel walked into the room and took a seat. He watched King swing the door shut and return to his desk before responding.

"anything on the files yet sir?" asked Stamford threw the door.
"No not yet. Though these Jag's are a bit fishy. The field Marshal also has a habit of arranging 'secret mission'. Mind you I would be a hipocrit if I said that was bad." replied the colonel.
"Fancy some chow sir? It's nice and hot." asked the sgt
"I think I will. I think I will" replied the colonel

"Sir. The plans are in" called the adjacent.
"Thankyou. Please call all of the officers into my tent at 10:00 please." asked the colonel
The sun rose over the camp as the officers crowded around the map in the centre of the table.
"Gentlemen as you can see. This isn't going to be easy. I personally suggest that we come in directly from the East. If we can take out the Eatern armoured column codenamed 'Rats bait' we should be able to take pressure off the infantry."
"do we still have access to the spec ops and paras?" asked Little
"I'll have to check on that but I guess no. Once we have destroyed the column we will split up. Echo onwards to Liama will sweep south and take out the AA emplacements and artillery emplacements. That will make a safe spot for the Air support to help us. We will than draw in the western armoured column codenamed 'Hell's Fury'. Once we draw them into the safe zone will just call in the stell rain. any questions?" asked the colonel.
"Sir. What type of equipment are we going to face?" asked Charlie's leader
"T-80's, T-74's. You know. Old Soviet Tech. But. I have a ssinking suspicion that we might face chinease equipment. So stay on your toes." answered Reynolds.
"Can we trust the infantry to take out the artillery and enemy infantry sir?" asked Cpt Thomason.
"I don't know. Just. For the moment. Look to your own men. Is that all? Good. Dismissed!".
As the men left the room. The colonel wondered if he would see them all again. He also wondered where the hell the paras and spec ops were. If he lost men in this mission because some stupid self centered prick wanted to blow up a bridge then by the gods he would make sure the spec ops leader and the para leader would never walk the planet again without looking over their shoulders every 5 minutes.

I love how you think the paras are in on some secret mission!! When Finn actually has just gone for a while.

"Allright, 10 seconds. Lets hope this works"
The inside of the An-2 wasnt comfortable. Far from excactly.
With the seatings taken out and a lot of basic stuff such as fire extuingishers and other emergency stuff had been removed to make it lighter.
The 3 aircraft, which were designed to carry 12 men each, were now carrying 20 soldiers each.
With a minimum of fuel, high tech navigation gear and such removed, the pilots had to be the best and they apparently were.

The first An-2 lifted off the ship. It was an amazing aircraft, designed to land and take off on very short runways in Siberia, it was perfect for ship launching. The second took off. Then a short while later, the third.

Jensen was in command of unit one, Okse was in command of unit two and then Nielsø in charge of Unit three.
The plan was extremely simple, and gave the Jægers the maximum chances to survive.
"Approaching the coast now"

Jensen could see the flashes from the bombing raid.
They were targeting some small ports. Far enough out to avoid the SAM sites further inland, but still close enough to do some damage. "Going dark...... now"
The aircraft decelerated to 40 miles per hour and dropped to flying low over the ground.
The An-2 were nearly invisible on radar, and flying low just made the effect better.
And the low speed and the bombing raid made sure they wouldnt be heard, and the night concealed their position to the naked eye. The 3 aircraft and 60 Jægers were now non-existing.

Drako stole a quick glance around the room while King proceeded to lock the door. It truly was a fortress in every sense, if there was ever an assault on Kaesong this is where the commanders would be. King turned around and greeted Drako, and so in the natural order of procedure Drako stood up and firmly shook Kings hand.

“Colonel King, first and foremost I would like to formally meet you, I don’t believe we ever met on a one to one basis. However on a more informal basis I would like to know your initial thoughts on the assault on Maesan. This time the operation is planned by the humble commanders of the field and not the aristocrats behind the behind the lines. As well I recently learned that for anything to get done around here one needs an alliance and a shared ideal with another…visionary lets say.”

Drako let go of Kings hand and began to cautiously walk around the around the room.

“I read some reports on all the CO’s and I noticed that you and I usually take the same course of action, perhaps we might be able to hold larger influences if we agree with each other as opposed to bickering with each other”

Drako then turned around and sharply looked in the eyes of King

"You know what?." said Little
"What?" asked Thomason
"I feel like throwing another flashbang." said the cpt after eyeing up the colonel going iinto the Canute tent. Before he could do anything else. 6 men piled on top of him. They tried to wrestle him to the ground, but failed miserably.
Colonel Reynolds watched the growing violence in the camp with amusment.
"Should we stop them sir?" asked Stamford
"Nah. Let the men have their fun. They need to let off some steam before this war all goes to hell. Send a message to the Field Marshal stating we're battle ready. Also state that we've codenamed the armoured columns 'Rat bait' and Hell's Fury. That might liven up his day a bit." the colonel mused.
