(Finn, you stole the words before I could even post it haha. Yes the South Koreans are the back-up force taking over the occupation of any cities we capture. Don't worry, we won't be in Kaesong much longer.)

"That crazy dane may be onto something," Field Marshal Asher said. He was staring at his computer screen avidly. Two pop-up windows were open on the Mac Pro screen, the first was the e-mail he had received from Major Jensen that day and the second one, was an in-depth satellite image of Hysean and the surrounding area. The other colonels had been suggesting plans which had no tactical subtlety or diversion, but what the Major suggested might just work using one of the basic principles of special forces tactics: A Diversion. It would require a lot of luck, but if each part of the operation went well... then it could dramatically change the face of the war. First he needed clearance at the highest level.

"Sergeant, get me Supreme Commander Cartwright on line 1 please."

The phone began to ring and then a broad american accent answered.

"Sir, this is Field Marshal Asher, Commander of the 1st Joint Task Force... Yes, well I was ringing to ask about an Operation I have for the Jaegers... Well sir, it's just that I need clearance for a Black Op and for them to become K's for the duration of it... I know it's a big ask sir but I can assure you it will be worth it... No, but you will be informed of what the operation is once it is complete... Yes sir, but I can imagine you understand the need for Operational Security.. Thankyou sir... No sir, your trust is well placed, very well placed. Goodbye."

With the clearance he needed, he typed out the response e-mail and clicked send. He had turned the switch and set the cogs in motion. There was no turning back now.

Jensen woke up by the bleep sound of an incoming message.
He rose from the bed and walked over to the computer.
There were birds singing outside. The first he had heard since the Battle of Kaesong.
"Mikkel, could you get me some coffe please."

Jensen opened the inbox and awoke when he saw that the message was from the Field Marshal.
He quickly opened it and read it through. The operation was a go!
Then he noticed the two words that all Special Forces commanders fear
"Deniable Operation"

It stood there right on the page.
This would worsen the units odds for returning home alive.
No rescue team if they fucked it up. But they were gonna do it.

He couldnt tell anyone else from the unit, or even the Task Force. And he couldnt prepare yet. He needed to wait for the cover story before moving on. Or somebody was gonna ask questions which Jensen couldnt answer.

All he could do now was wait.

Asher, read through the message he had written to all of the other commanders in the 1st Joint Task Force. It was important that none of the other commanders knew what was going to happen. It read:

To the Commanders of the 1st JTF,

I am sorry to inform you that aswell as the impending absence of the 3rd Parachute Regiment led by Colonel Richardson who will be assisting one of the other task forces, we will also be seeing the absence of Major Jensen and his Jaegerkorpset. They are being used to do a recon on Pyongyang for the whole of the UN force, they will be working alongside SAS operatives and will be deep behind enemy lines, doing a recon mission for an unknown amount of time. I am sure you will all be sorry to see them leave, but I assure you it will not be for too long we hope.

Yours Sincerely,

Field Marshal Asher.

He gave it to his Sergeant who was to copy it and send copies to every commander in the force. Asher didn't like lying but sometimes you had to.

The Cover story was up, so now Jensen could start the actual work.
"Everybody gather around. Next mission is here"
Jensen had never heard of a deniable operation of this size, well. You didnt hear many Deniable ops anyway.
But it was still going to be tough.

As all the men and women were gathered, including Lieutenant Nielsø who had just come home from his hospital visit, Jensen started his briefing. The soldiers knew as well as the Major that this was a high risk operation.
Chances were that none of them were coming home, but Jensens revised plan had at least given them a fighting chance.

The soldiers gathered their equipment. There wasnt much talking.
All of them knew the price. They didnt get anything out of it. This mission would be classified and remained closed for the next couple of decades. "If i get home, im gonna write a book about it" Mikkel joked.
Nielsø was still a little stiff from his trip to the hospital, but he had asked to come with them.
He wouldnt miss it for anything in the world.

The Jægers drove for the next couple of hours.
They would arrive at an airport and then be flown east to a port.
There they were gonna meet with the ship, and the aircrafts.

Brøndum carried the bag with explosives.
Several sets of H6 and C4. They were gonna make short work on anything the Jægers decided they'd want to blow up. They had had to give up the M/84's to remain light enough. Plus, they werent expecting to engage armour.
If they were unlucky enough to meet some Korean, or Chinese armour for that matter, they would be running away from it.

In each of the Jægers bag was the usual deal.
They didnt have their sleeping bags or tent equipment with them. They were supposed to stay light.
So only extra ammo, minimum of food and then lots of water.
But all the way at the bottom, in a protected bag, was the most unusual thing you could possibly find in a Soldiers bag.
There was a nice set of casual clothes.

"Sir, the Field Marshal just sent an e-mail to all the Task Force commanders. I believe you should chek it." Hayes said when he entered Anderson's office.

"Thank you, Mark, I'll check it now."

Hayes nodded and walked off and began to yell at some privates who were looking at pornographic magazines. Anderson smiled at Hayes who was still yelling at the guys. Anderson didn't mind his soldiers carrying around porn. But if they got sexually aroused during combat, then they'd be given a warning.

Anderson switched on his laptop and clicked his e-mail folder....

After reading it Anderson walked out of his office.

"What was the e-mail abot sir?" Hayes asked when he approached him.

"Oh just some message about the Spec ops doing some recon ove Pyongyang. Apparently they'll be gone for a while too. Just like the 3 Para."

"Oh well, we can tough it out without them for now right?"

"We'll see."

"Well. That's a load of crap." the colonel commented while reading the message. The night before had been excellent. Only a few commanders had come. But that didn't matter.
"How so sir?" asked Stamford.
"'SAS operatives'. Dose he mean the ones that have only just arrived back at the South Korean capital?" chuckeled the colonel.
"How do you know sir?" asked the sgt.
"Remember when Little had to go away. It was because he was acting as an adviser to the SAS for working with armour. He sent a message last night, saying they had just arrived." replied Reynolds. "Get me a line with the Field Marshal." he asked.

Asher was trying to get some sleep in the middle of the day, while things were quiet when someone knocked on the door of his room. The commander sat up in his bed and rubbed the sleep from his eyes before going to the door and opened it, to find his Sergeant standing in the doorway with a hand radio.

"Yes Sergeant what is it?"

"Sir, it's Colonel Reynolds. He's requesting to speak to you and he says it is of great importance," he said, the young man obviously worried he had annoyed the Field Marshal, but Asher just yawned.

"Ok Sergeant thank you, I'll take it," he said, taking the radio off the Sergeant before responding.

"Colonel Reynolds, is there something you would like to ask me?"

"Oh not much sir." the colonel said into the radio. "I was just wondering if you could tell me what the Jag's are actually doing. Seeing that the SAS are still in the South Korean capital with one of my men." asked the colonel.

Asher sighed, he was persistant but he was also to questioning for his own good.

"Colonel Reynolds, as I'm sure your aware, the SAS contains more men than the single training team that is in Seoul that you have mentioned and some of these other men are going on the mission with the Jaegerkorpset. You know how secretive the SAS are, the fact that you expect me to lie to you when I have even told you what the joint mission is surprises me. The original mission that was put forward to me was rejected, and therefore I gave the Jaegers this one. Is that all?"

"Yes sir." replied the colonel. "Of course sir. Thankyou." The colonel put down the reciever. "Look what this war is turning into. Now even our commander lies. I didn't say anything about a single training team. I didn't even say they were training.
"How many are there sir?" asked Stamford.
"There was aproximately a whole companny of Britain's finest. They were being posted to the JT3. Send a telegram to Colonel Lewis. Tell him I need a favour." asked Reynolds.
Colonel Lewis was in Charge of the Infantry in the JT3. Him and Reynolds had fought an battle in Bosnia. They were unbreakable. The colonel was going to find the truth. And he knew it involoved that bridge.
