"Apaches are engaging that flanking force right now, Shark 6"

1-3) Apaches barely damage the enemy and need to rearm.

4-6) Choppers take out half the attack force.

7-9) Choppers are able to down most of the enemy.

10) All enemies are eliminated.

You rolled a: 3!

"Shark 6, the best I can do now is just to waste airstrikes on them! It seems that these guys are elite. I can pick you up and take you to a better position of you want. But the tanks from Rat 6 would be grounded"

As drako and the RCR approached Kaesong chatter lit up across every com frequency, it seemed as if the kirks had attempted a counter strike on Kaesong, but only to be met by heavy UN resistance. It seems as if the battle would be over before the regiment even landed in the airfield. None the less the RCR would have to offer it's services.

Drako grabbed the radio, flicked a switched on the control board and was greeted by the all too familiar sound of static.

"This is colonel drako of the royal Canadian light infantry, we are apriaching Kaesong via chinooks, ready to make a hot drop if neccessary, requesting confirmation, over"

Im overjoyed to see all of you still keeping the Pretorian dream alive despite all the hardships that have come upon this community. I may not be a Pretorian anymore, but I dont think the Pretorians even exist anymore. What does exist is an outstanding group of individuals who continue to uphold the values that forged the Pretorian Division.

Good to see you guys.

"....Copy that Colonel Drako. Just land at the town sqaure. We have Marines and tanks at the outskirts fighting the Kirks. But they can manage. What you could do for us though, is head a bit west of their position and you'll meet a group of Kirk Infantry. I can give you my chopper support but these guys are pretty damn elite. So think you can do that, newbie?"

OOC: Sorry if I seemed a bit harsh at the end, didn't mean it, just trying to fit in to the game ;)

That last word caught Drako off guard. It had been a good 20 years since he had last been called a newbie.

" Copy that Colonel Anderson. Still I believe you should have done your homework. After Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Lebanon one might think himself quite capable of dealing with North Korean infantry. Ill dispatch the 1st and 3rd battalions, the 2nd will be kept for reserve and the 4th will engage in a simple flanking manoeuvre from the 270. Cover the flankers if you can, the rest of my infantry can hold the line. As well im requesting light artillery support, can I get confirmation on that ASAP?"

The city fast approached and the several dozen Chinooks all landed in the town square. Parked on the roadways leading out from the center of the ruined city were 50 humvees, just like the Marshal promised.

As the Helo landed Drako immediately hopped off and head to the center of the square, only moments later did his officers follow him. The sound of the choppers was overwhelming and the gusts of wind had created a storm of sorts. Through all this Drako had to issue his orders, just perfect.

"The 1st and 3rd are going west at 60 degrees to engage an immediate infantry threat, that means you Kortez and Smith! The 4th is going to flank the enemy from the North West, your coming in from 270 degrees, you might have helo support but dont rely on it, its not heavy. Finally im keeping the 2nd in reserve, if anything goes bad you guys are our cover outa there. Move out!"

Half expecting his officers to turn to each other in confusion the Colonel immediately ran to the humvee where his personal squadron was awaiting him. No channel was opened by his officers so all is assumed to have been confirmed.

Several humvees then turned on and the roar of their engines echoed through the city. Time to make their mark

Anderson blushed silently.
"Copy that, and negative on any artillery support. The South Korean artillery hasn't responeded at the moment. But I can give you an airstrike if you need. Follow my choppers they'll engage the enemy and then they'll expect it's just the choppers but then you pop up and do what you do. I have immediate light and heavy transport if you need evac. Over"

The choppers began to desend and head toward the flanking enemy. Several hours ago Anderson had landed in Kaseong and then left and then he came back. He had convinced the commander to let him command his forces closer to the action.

"Apache sqaud 1 open fire on the targets, over"

"Copy that, engaging"

Anderson looked through his binoculaurs and saw his choppers doing what they did best. Anderrson sighed and got on the radio.

"Colonel Drako, are you there yet?"

"Almost, we're only a minute out."

"Okay, my choppers are taking fire so be ready to take alot of heat."

"Okay, Anderson."

"Oh and Colonel? Sorry about that Newbie comment. I take it back. We're both from Canada, so let's try this all again."

"Sure, but let me kill some Kirks first" Drako replied.

A minute later Drako arrives with his humvees and the Koreans are taken off guard. While the Apache gunners fire from the air the infantry below are lobbing grenades and firing bullets. After about 20 minutes of fighting, the Korean force (of exactly 21 left) surrender to the UN forces. They are taken prisoner and the flank is held.

After the mop-up Anderson met up with Drako.

"Hey colonel, good job. Looks like you'll do okay in North Korea."

"Uhm..Thanks."

"Just look out for flashbangs"

"Yeah sure, wait wha-"

But before Drako could finish Anderson jumped onto a humvee and rode off back to his command post in the heart of Kaesong.

Tactical officer and resident idiot. Little FTW!

"Hey sir. Who's the new guy?" asked a crewman.
"That, my friend. Is Colonel Drako, of the Canadian Light infantry." replied Reynolds "I saw his men fight in Afgahnistahn. Bloody good fighters. I think i'll go over and say hi." said the Colonel.
He walked off towards the Commander.

"This is Sunray to all callsigns. Bloody good job last night, sorry I couldn't be there but I had to have a meeting with command but your all capable commanders, and it seems you gave the Kirk a right bloody nose. Now, I want your citations for who should receive medals in your forces by tonight. That is all. Over."
