"Note to self. Throw actual grenade next time instead of Stun." said the colonel quitely as he drove back to the base. "Maybe I should blow up the toilets? There would be no dirt on them." he said. But he hadn't convinced himself yet if he was jocking or not. |

Up ahead, the Kirk convoy went up in flames. At least there was some good news. The Javelins had exhausted their ammo, but there was an IFV running amok. Several LAW fired at it in unison, hitting its weaker rear: Odds: The vehicle explodes Evens: The vehicles is immobilized You rolled a: 7! |

The vehicle went up in flames. That was the last real threat out of the way. The Kirk drivers, and about 10 soldiers surrendered. Simmons ordered his men to get those wounded treated. 2 men had bee killed, and 3 wounded. He looked around him- about 40 Kirk lay dead or dying on the floor. Two IFV's, 3 trucks and 1 MBT lay smoking carcasses. Further up the road was a large amount of smoke and flames. On top of that, they had 8 trucks taken completely in tact. He would call this a successful ambush. "Sunray, this is Hawk 6. We have 3 wounded that need a medevac, along with 8 Kirk wounded. We have another 17 Kirk POW's on top of that, along with 8 vehicles in tact. Are we to make our way back to base now, or do we have further orders? Over" |

As the colonel got back to the camp. He called the Watchmen and all of his officers. "alright listen up. We've really pissed the Commander off so we have to lay low. Commander of the Watch I want guards on all posts. I've got a sinking feeling that those Jag's will want revenge. Remember what the SBS captain set in Basra all those years ago. We're good if we spot them first. Goodluck gentlemen! Dismissed." |

Simmons made his way back to Kaesong before meeting up with Robertson to tell him how it went. 2 dead, 3 wounded. Damn, that made 21 dead Paras, and another 41 wounded. Simmons had also suggested Pvt.Tibbs receive a Gallantry Medal for his action in disabling the IFV. He also suggested several other medals. "Bloody fine work" stated Richardson, before sending Delta back off the line for a few hours to get some rest. They would return to their old positions after that. As the day drew to a close Little heard about the Paras ambush. "Hey Stamford. We've got to make some allies here. Help me load up the APC's with officers rations." Little ordered "Dose the colonel know about this?" asked Stamford. "No but he said nothing about making friends. We'll treat the paras to a nice dinner." said Little. When the APC's were loaded up they headed off to the paras camp. They arrived about an hour later. "Roll up! Roll up! we've got free food for anyone who wants it! Officers rations for Britain's finest!" Shouted Little. He was greeted by tired and surprised faces. Edited by Comminsa0, Apr 8 2009, 03:21 PM.

Meanwhile at camp. "So sir. How's the eye holding up?" asked Stratton "You know when youn got shot back in Afgahnistahn. It feels like that." replied the colonel "Oh sorry sir." "It dosen't matter. Robertson was delighted when the Desert Rats rolled up. They were the first Brits he had seen in days, and they had a pleasant surprise for 3 Para. The Paras gave three cheers for the man (Captain Little was it) with the annoying voice. It was a well earned reward. Robertson went and shook hands with Little, and they shared a few stories about their previous days exploits. Richardson wasn't told about the flash bangs mind you, if he had been told, he may very well have sent Little packing his gear and heading back to Kaesong. Unfortunately, the celebrations were short lived. Robertson was there when little got news that the 7th had spotted enemy movement to the North. Richardson radioed the Pathfinders who were stationed about a mile east of the ambush sight- they had had to move to avoid detection. They confirmed there was an enemy presence, and radioed Richardson who relayed the info to Little. He knew this was too good to be true. Edited by Finn 1939, Apr 8 2009, 03:59 PM.

Colonel Drako marched down the hallway and to the HQ. The briefing was about to commence. The current orders from HQ were to move in and to hold Kaesong, however this war was unravelling at an astonishing rate and the front were always shifting. For all Drako knew Kaesong could have fallen back into enemy hands. As well a Lieutenant had found Drako on his way to the HQ, claiming that the bombing on Kaesong was a myth and that in actuality it had been a surgical carpet combing of key enemy outposts throughout the city. Drako found the door which read "Authorised personnel only". Two guards stood by the entrance. Before Drako was allowed to enter the guard to left asked for papers. Drako exposed his identification card and was allowed to enter. . The room was a large circle and several rings of desks and computers were situated inside, in the very center of the room was an empty space where the general would stand, and behind him a large screen. Drako found four men standing in the center of the room, and in the center was Field Marshal Asher, seemingly occupied. Still time was short and Drako had deadlines to meet. Proudly he fixed his posture, took a deep breath and walked towards the cluster of men who could now be identified as generals.
