"What do you think sir?" asked Little. "shall we ignore it?" "We could always do what we did to that dick Jackson." replied the colonel. In Afgahnistahn the battalion was on trial for insubordination. The desert rats decided to drive a challenger through the Commanders Tent. It shut him up for ages. "But then. This Field Marshal is fair. We don't have anything against him. *sigh* Let's go and get the shit beaten out of us. Hang on. Little you go and head for the UN base 20 klicks south of here. say you were on an errand before the summons." said the colonel. |

Denton split his 30 men into 3 teams to scout the area. One of the teams bumped into a group on about 15 Kirk- but the Kirk were not expecting an attack this far north, and were quickly taken out. "That was easy" Denton muttered through the mike. They got to work finding subtable ambush points for the fast approaching Delta Company. Delta Company arrived. Word has it that the convoy was about 3 clicks away, so they had to move fast. He set up several ambush points over a 150 meter distance. He then set up a point on a nearby wooded hill where the Javelin launchers were loaded and readied in case they needed to be used. They then were ordered to maintain radio silence and keep their heads down. Meanwhile, Denton and the Pathfinders were moving up a nearby hill slightly to the North where they could relay info back to Simmons. The Convoy came into sight: 1-4= The Convoy is traveling with 1 tank and 2 IFV's 5-7= The convoy is traveling with 4 IFV's 8-9= The convoy is traveling with a single IFV 10= The convoy is traveling with no armoured vehicles. You rolled a: 2! |

"Bugger" Simmons replied. He radioed the company to inform them and gave them orders before again telling them to maintain radio silence The convoy rumbled past Delta. Simmons had previously ordered them to wait until the Javelins and LAW had hit their marks. The AT weapons were fired: 1-4= Two IFV's destroyed. Tank damaged but still operational 5-7= All the vehicles destroyed 8-10= Tank destroyed, IFV's remain operational You rolled a: 9! |

The Tank erupted into flame before exploding. It was right in the middle of the convoy, and behind one of the trucks exploded into flames, engulfing everyone in a wave of heat. It was obviously an ammo truck. "FIRE!!!!!" Simmons ordered. The Kirk hopped out their trucks and opened up, but most were simply mown down. The two IFV's were still operational though. The back half of the column had stopped as the Tank was blocking their way, but the front half sped up. 1 of the men took out a truck. Simmons ordered them to destroy the front half trying to escape: 1-4= Most of the front of the column is destroyed, but some remain 5-7= The front column remains largely in tact 8-10= The front column is completely destroyed You rolled a: 5! |

LAW's flew at the front column, but it remained largely in tact. Worse, they still had 2 IFVs and the second half of the column to worry about. Simmons got onto the radio: "Sunray, this is Hawk 6. Half of the column is getting away. We need fast air on Grid square 8,3,0,9. Over" The IFV's opened up on Delta: 1-4= They cause several wounded, but no dead 5-8= They kill several paras, and wound several more 9-10= No damage is done. You rolled a: 6! |

Simmons heard shouts of man down. He ordered those IFV's to be immediately taken out. 2 more Javelins shoot into the air: 1-3= 1 IFV goes up in flames 4-8= Both IFV's go up in flames 9-10= Neither does You rolled a: 9! |

Asher was standing over the map on the desk, when the door swung open and one of his aides told him there was a Colonel to see him. Asher thought it was strange that he hadn't said Captain aswell. "Thank you Sergeant," Asher said and the smile vanished from his face as the Colonel walked in. "You wanted to see me Field Marshal?" "Yes Colonel I did.... Now could you please explain why the fuck I have had two of my commanding officers being blinded by stun grenades in one day and one of them thrown by you another commanding officer?!" "Sir it was just a joke, nobody was hur-" "I don't give a fucking toss whether anyone was hurt or not, the point is its not acceptable at all. Firstly I hear that Captain Little throws a stun grenade at Colonel King, because he didn't like the way he was looking at him!! What are your officers Reynolds?? Fucking school kids?? And then! I hear that Major Jensen was also blinded by a stun grenade, which you threw at him. After he quite rightly berated your officer for his actions. What kind of shit head example does that set to the men, Colonel?" "Sir, surely the men are just a-" "I don't give a fuck what you think the men's problems are. Now what am I gonna do with you, eh? Well you and your Captain will be doing latrine duty for the next two weeks, thats your punishment. Any more behaviour like this... and I may have to consider your position. Is that clear?!" "Yes, sir," the colonel replied glumly. "Good, now get out of my sight." |

2 more trucks exploded in a ball of fire, but the IFV's remained in tact. An LAW fired, immobilizing one of them. Simmons saw a Para run forward to try and disable it with a grenade: 1-4= The Para succeeds and escapes 5-7= The Para succeeds but is hit 8-10= The Para fails and is hit You rolled a: 1! |

Simmons watched the Para clime onto the immobilized vehicle, open the hatch, fire several shots and drop a grenade. Then he ran back into a hedgerow as the vehicle exploded behind him. Simmons didn't have time to congratulate him- there was still another IFV and half a convoy to worry about. Just then he spotted the fighters swooping low over him, going for the convoy up ahead 1-4= The convoy is mostly destroyed aside from a few vehicles 5-8= The convoy is obliterated 9-10= The convoy is largely undamaged You rolled a: 6! |
