The colonel watched his battalion as he made for the humvee. he could see Little playing around with dual Ak-47's as he told some of the new guys (who had arrived at the start of the battle) that this was the proper way to fight. He saw a couple of paras lozing about after a hard fight. Some of the Jag's were talking to the Canadians. Probably sharing stories. It appeared that most of his men got on fine with the Canutes, apart from their Colonel. Who seemed to be giving death stares to Little every 5 minutes. The Colonel got into the humvee and asked to be taken to the Field marshal. He reckoned he owed him an apology for disobeying orders at the North gate. Plus he wanted to get some info on where the next target was. If he had anything to go by. It would probably be the miliaty base by Heahje. Or at least. He though that was the name of it since the map on the front post was blurred! |

Little saw his commnding officer drive off. He knew something had been knawing at the Colonel since the battle. Maybe it was the fact he had lost a challenger. Or maybe it was because he was still suffering from the shock when Stamford dragged him away from the tank wreck. As he was thinking this he saw the Canadian colonel once again look at him as if he personally killed all those marines. He decided to cheer his men up and get some revenge in. "Stamford. Hand me that flashbang." He would teach that colonel not to give death stares to Cpt Little of Delta Squadron, 7th Battalion. Edited by Comminsa0, Apr 8 2009, 10:13 AM.

Just thought I would point out that loosing an eye will get you sent off the line and not allowed back into the army-whether you like it or not. You certainly wouldn't be carrying on with just an eye-patch without having even visited a hospital. Can't we just pretend you didn't loose your eye, just did some damage, and that you will be sitting in hospital for the next mission? Your second in command can take over....... |

I did visit it. It's been about a day now since my part in the operation came to a close. I know you want to keep it realistic but I also want to add some character to the game. The eye was patched up by the CASEVAC. I'll see what Path says. |

Asher took another sip of tea and picked up the pen again, he had started to write his After Action Report for the commanders and for HQ but things had been so hectic he had lost track of a lot of what happened, so he was having to go the transcripts the support staff had taken down of the radio conversations. He was about to start writing again, when he heard a click of boots and turned around to see Colonel Reynolds standing behind the chair along with one of the Field Marshal's support staff. Asher carefully placed the pen down and turned to shake the Colonel's hand. "Good to finally meet you Colonel Reynolds, I just want to tell you I think your men did a bloody good job the other day and I hope for the same performance next time," Asher said. "Thankyou Field Marshal." "Now tell me what happened to your eye Colonel? |

"Ah well you see sir. It appears my eye was damaged by shrapnel. I can still see but my eyelid dosent' open fully. Plus the medics said that a nerve was destroyed which will result in that eye being very sensitive to light. So i've taken to wearing an eyepatch for the remainder of our stay until I can go home and get it fixed. By the way sir. I was wandering if you could sort of give me a heads up for our next mission?" |

"Well I do hope your eye gets better Colonel and at least you can look like a true war veteran," Asher replied jokingly. "On th mission front, what I can tell you is that we've been tasked to assault a military base, however I'm not sure how much of a role your tanks will have to play in the assault." |

3 Para had been told to hold the line until further notice. They had yet another wounded soldier- but not by enemy fire. He had managed to spill a large pot of boiling water down his legs and was taken off for severe burns. 'Thinking mans army' my arse. He also had word that there may be a prisoner exchange for our downed B-52 pilots- the Jaegers had secured themselves several Kirk commanders- so they are coming in handy. He also caught sight of Colonel Reynolds of the Desert Rats for the first time since the fighting started. He was wearing an eye patch, and looked pretty shook up. Richardson hoped he was Ok. Aside from a few blunders, he had done a good job securing the city. To make matters worse, Richardson had to write a bloody AAR to pass onto the Field Marshall (I ain't really writing one- but a Colonel usually would )However, it wasn't all bad news. Now the city was taken, the Paras were receiving regular supplies, and they had managed to get the 82 POW's off the line, including 31 wounded. Yet another one had died before they could get them off the line. Edited by Finn 1939, Apr 8 2009, 11:05 AM.

"Oh alright sir. Thankyou sir." said the Colonel. As he left the room the colonel though to himself. If we're not used in this mission things will escalate extremely badly. I remember when they said they didn't need u in Bosnia. Bloody massacre. |

Jensen and the Jægerkorps soldiers arrived back at Kaesong. Jensen had finished talking to Captain Roslyng who was in charge of EH-101 that would be doing most of the Jægers transports, when he got the word that some space had been found for them to set up camp. As they walked by several Para's caught sight of them and they all greeted eachother with pats on the backs and such. The men were approaching the Canadian marines and the tankers when they suddenly heard a loud bang. Several canadian soldiers, including some commander, were standing rubbing their eyes and holding tumbling to the ground. Several of the tankers started laughing, loudest of them was some Captain with a rather irritating voice. Jensen dropped his bag and walked towards the cluster of englishmen. Their captain was still laughing and pointing fingers at the Canadian officer when Jensen appeared behind him. "Captain, you might explain to me what the hell is going on here?" The tank commander spun around on his feet and nearly fell, there feel an eery silence over the camp. "Major... i just wa-" Jensen cut him off. "Was what? trying to immobilize a superior officer? You know what that stuff does to your head son?" The Captain was about to answer, but Jensen stayed ahead of him. "How would you explain the death of several marines if a North Korean Bomber appeared out of the blue sky?" "Sir, with all due respect, it was just a joke" Jensen took one step forward. "Listen CAPTAIN. Im not fond of your battalions idea of disobeying orders, charging recklessly and blinding superior officers. Now i expect a proper apology to the Colonel before i court martial your ass so hard, that you have wished your mom never accepted the milkmans request to come inside!" The Captain nodded and Jensen walked back, picked up his stuff and walked towards the camp where his men were setting up their camp |
