I have already come up with a deal with Slayer- I will hold the Northern Part (The bit controlling the water way) and he will hold the rest.

You are better off asking him as he owns more land in the Sector

The NAR fleet sails to the remains of the Sector 4 port. The NAR army boards the transports, and they prepare to set sail for Operation Lynx.

NAR forces in the North of Sector 24 starts building coastal batteries along the narrow water straight.

The NAR announces the creation of the 'Traitor Legion'. The Traitor Legion will be comprised of those from the Tzung Empire who have offered to fight for the NAR in order to regain respect and forgiveness. They will undergo rigorous training in discipline and loyalty to the NAR and hatred to the Tzung. However, the Legion will only accept those who can prove they are not volunteers for the Tzung. Volunteers who are captured will be executed or put in work camps.

This decision proves unpopular among NAR troops and the population. However, NAR generals hope this will change when the Traitor Legion proves its loyalty in battle.

* Paladin Icarus denies the KE access over DR waters *

* Paladin Icarus warns the NAR of the possibility that the entirety of the traitor legion will turn on the NAR troops in battle and possibly lead to a severe loss *

* Operation Gambit is launched *

* A large scale bombardment and a walker advance is the first phase *

1 - 2 Bombardment falls short on most targets and the walkers are largely brought down as they approach Tzung lines - the Tzung counterattack with artillery and destroy much equipment and artillery positions
3 - 4 Bombardment strikes some enemy positions and the walkers manage to talk the forward post but little else
5 - 6 Bombardment strikes a few enemy positions slightly weakening them and the walkers manage to take several positions and a single one of value
7 - 8 Bombardment strikes many enemy positions largely weakening them and the walkers manage to take many forward positions and some along the battle lines
9 - 10 Bombardment strikes all enemy positions incredibly weakening them and the walkers manage to take all forward positions and force the Tzung to fall back a few miles

Plasma Bonus

1 - 2 Forces push into the mines only to find them laced with proximity charges - the Tzung detonate the mines causing heavy casualties and forces on the surface are forced to prepare for a charge however the Tzung counterattack and push them back a mile
3 - 5 Forces push through the mines under moderate fire and are able to take them after some casualties - mines are secure and troops can launch a small attack
6 - 7 Forces push through the mines under heavy fire but are able to take them after heavy casualties - mines are secure but troops cannot launch their attack
8 - 9 Forces push through the mines to find themselves unopposed - the Tzung had no knowledge of the mines
10 Forces push through the mines only to be halted by intense fighting

Roll was 3 + 1 = 4 ( no change in result )

* Forces are able to take the mines and suffer some casualties - they can only launch a small attack *

* The Civil Legion is hungry for Tzung blood and they open the attack with a large charge as the forces behind the Tzung in the mines break out and attempt to destroy 3 key defences *

1 - 2 Forces gain little ground against the Tzung and ar equickly driven back after heavy casualties
3 - 4 Forces manage to push the Tzung back several miles using the destruction of 2 of the defences to great effect
5 - 6 Forces are able to drive the Tzung back a mile following the destruction of 1 of the defences
7 - 8 Forces destroy the 3 defences but are unable to drive the Tzung back more than a quarter of the way through the Sector
9 - 10 Forces destroy the 3 defences and drive the Tzung back halfway through the remainder of the Sector
