The Tzung forces vow to carry on fighting regardless. Current NAR casualties number 763 Tzung casualties thought to number 4,000 plus those who died on the ships. Estimates put the total Tzung casualty rate at 6,000 to 11,000. A big push is made against the Tzung 1-4= The Tzung manage to hold on, but continue to take heavy casualties 5-7= The Tzung force is driven into the sea and annihilated 8-10= The Tzung forces take very heavy casualties. Some are driven into the sea, the remainder surrender. You rolled a: 2! |

The counter-attack is unsuccessful. NAR forces suffer another 300 casualties, while the Tzung suffer nearly 500. About 1,500 Tzung are thought to be left. The NAR rather then continuing to assault head on, stands back to let them starve, occasionally pounding them with shells or chemical weaponry. ![]() The NAR fleet also moves in to bombard the remaining forces. Their last stand is completely hopeless, and is more like a massacre then a battle. |

But they are outnumbered, demoralized, surrounded and completely out-gunned. Shall I do the roll again or just bear that in mind in future? |

^^Remember I am also attacking territory 24, and that it is cut off from the other Tzung territories. If I hold the blockade, which will weaken their supplies, it will be easier for you 2 to beat them back |

The Tzung forces see the situation is hopeless and surrender. Many claim to be conscripts whose land was invaded by the Tzung, and they ask forgivness. Some even offer to fight for the NAR to seek redemption. The NAR imprisons them for the time being. Some also hand themselves over to the Night of Day Coaltion and the UME. ![]() Tzung Forces in Sector 4 are thought to number no more then 500. The NAR continues its blockade and bombardment The NAR fleet moves to blockade the gap to the North of Sector 24. President Gyles says the NAR's contribution to the Scandinavian campaign is over. He says they have successfully got the Scandinavian nation back on its feet, and created a buffer between the NAR and the Tzung. |
