Some (but not all) games in this forum are called "Forum Wars."

Forum Wars are RPGs created by the users of the community. There are precious few rules we have that we would like to bring your attention to:

*No kids!

Don't do that either. This includes yourselves!

*No pictures of intense blood and gore
*No pictures of prisoner abuse
*No pics of Nazis
*No controvertial historical figures
*No personal insults
*No spam

*Game Masters!

The GM is at all times, the final arbiter of any disputes over game mechanics or resolutions. It's their game. When a person starts a game, they are the Game Master. They are expected to be responsible for their game and will be held accountable for the outcome of their games!

If a GM consistently starts games that end abruptly due to disruptions, they may lose the privilege of creating new games.

If a GM asks a player to leave a game or tells a player a certain action cannot be taken, it is expected that the players will honor that decision.

For any conflicts that arise for which the players do not feel the GM is fit to handle, the site staff can and should be contacted.

Game Masters should outline any and all rules of the game in their first post of the thread.

Ask yourselves questions before you start a forum game. "Is there a limit to the players? Is it turn based? Do we not want them using X weapon? Do we want them to use Y weapon?" Imagine how you want it to go, and make that clear in the first post of the game. Update the first page often so that those that want to play can quickly see the updated version of the game.

*Do not disrupt the game.

If a situation arises where a player feels they are being treated unfairly, step out of the game and contact the staff. Do not disrupt the community or the game by destroying the thread.

*Avoid plagiarizing other member's ideas and games.

Decide whether your game you're planning to create or an event in the game you're planning to unfold is actually your own. We ask that you do not copy off of the ideas of other member's ideas. You are free to use themes and events from other threads as long as you have the consent of the author you're mimicking and have given credit to that particular member.

If a member can provide substantial evidence of plagiarism, action may be taken against the accused author. This may include a warning, closing of the thread, or more conventional consequences such as suspensions. Please respect other's ideas and give credit where it is due.

Now remember, these are more like guidlines than rules.

Other than that, have fun!
