Talks with Latvia and Estonia continue. Latvia and Estonia agree to join the Eastern European Defense Pact (Which is separate from NATO). It urges the Kalmar Union to join. The EEDP is seeking to expand its membership- talks begin with Poland. New economic, political and military ties opened up with Malaysia (Its red now )British Diplomat flies to Rio De Janeiro

Australia and several Pacific Island nations show concern over French weapon testing. Several BAE Taranis systems enter their first combat duty in Pakistan/Afghanistan- hunting down Al-Qaeda and Taliban leaders. ![]() Information on the BAE Fury also state it performed very well in the Afghanistan war, doing its reconnaissance/attack job perfectly. ![]() The system is to be further upgraded to match those features found on the BAE Mantis demonstrator programme. ![]() ![]() New deal has led to Australia purchasing several of the upgraded systems in the near future. |
