* Prime Minister Donahue says he recognises the fact that the capture of Al Zawahiri and Osama Bin Laden will not put an end to Al Qeada and that the end of Al Qeada was not the goal of Operation Vespertillio - however that being said Al Qeada is trapped within occupied Waziristan as they are surrounded by Pakistani Security Forces and by Lyon Armed Forces and the US military in a strict quarantine zone ( supplies and civilians still pass through but they go through a check before they are able to leave ). British Defense Spending is increased and is now 3% of the GDP (As opposed to 2.6). The two Royal Navy Queen Elizabeth Carriers and the accompanying F-35's are completed. 6 more Type 45 Destroyers ordered (Making that a total of 12)- the worlds best air-defense ship. 3 will travel with each of the new carriers at all times, with the other 6 patrolling or supporting Operations elsewhere. ![]() Saudi Arabia is interested in purchasing 2 of Type 45's. 8 Astute class submarines have also finished being built All Warrior IFV are now fitted with the upgrades- extending service life to 2025. Britain and Australia look into beginning mining the oil from there Britain encourages British farmers to grow more crops with new tax cuts or financial bonuses in order to decrease the amount of exports that we rely on. Britain begins extensive talks with several Eastern European countries including Poland, Estonia and Latvia over growing concerns of Russian aggression in the East. The UK lets it be known that Britain, NATO and the EU will not tolerate Russian aggression in this area. Looks for international support on the issue. (Also asks the US and the Lyons Republic for an alliance) Britain continues to move towards Renewable energy sources. Several new Nuclear plants have been built, along with all the old ones being replaced, extensive wind farms being produced, and a plan to build a £300 million hydro-electric dam in the upper course of the River Severn. ^^^Just so you know- France has the FELIN Future Warrior Programme. But if you do not want that one, the UK will be interested in helping develop a kit similar to FIST. |

Reminds the rest of the world that any attack on one of these states will lead to swift reprisals. A large scale military excersize is held with all the militaries of these states in the deserts of Australia, and the jungles of Malaysia
