TEAM ABS!

We also don't know wouldn't come back either. Eden Regal has been crapped on more than once and she has always been willing to come back to AMC as Bianca for the fans. Supposedly Ron is devastated, and this came above Frank and Ron, so Brett & Scott might not hold any grudges against OLTL. I still personally think that if Kish came back, they'd still be written good. It sounds like this decision was very heavily debated and didn't come easy, so there is still many at ABC that support Kish. Maybe I'm a bit desperate, but I still need my Kish! LOL I think we should call and send letters everyday explaining why we love Kish and what they mean to us. Postcards are a good idea. Someone mentioned sending candles or something, that could be a good idea. The getting on GMA, so needs to happen. |

I've never been compelled to write or call for any kind of campaign such as this, but I will now! I too am not doing it to get the guys back, but to inform OLTL/ABC how disappointed and upset I am in regards to how all of this played out. I truly have had a difficult time dealing with this news. My friends know how much I love Kish, so they sent me flowers for my "loss." It helped to get their support. It also helps to know that the members of Kishmet are here and understand what I'm feeling and going through. |

I sent an email, and will send a postcard when the postcard campaign is ready. I also have been commenting on sites that have been covering this (especially the gay sites). ABC seems to be downplaying the homophobia of the decision here: http://www.queerty.com/is-one-life-to-live-writing-off-the-gays-because-they-decimated-ratings-20100311/ |

Yeah I'm loving it and I hope that Frons and Frank reconsider their decision to boot off Kyle and Oliver. They are the best daytime gay couple and this story was really well written and just fantastic and it really was the love story and the chemistry that got everybody hooked on to it. Brett and Scott put their heart and soul into their characters and from the interviews they love working with each other and their job with OLTL. Being gay doesn't matter at all. PLEASE FRON AND FRANK KEEP KISH ON THE SHOW YOU WOULD BE A LOSS WITHOUT THESE TWO. :crossed: It's not Kish that brought down the ratings it could have easily been Todd/Tea or Rex and Gigi But if you don't think this through and don't keep Kish on the show at least we got our say in it. |

The rallying call has been heard, especially from us non-LGBTQ folks, because somehow and someway, TPTB really think that we (the non-LGBTQ'ers) are just not ready for stories that aren't about US. TPTB really think that the participants of those focus groups, are truly representative of their "mainstream viewing" audience. They really do, yet Now, I know that there's no one representative of ME in those focus group, because I've been following/reading/watching/imaging stories about LGBTQ characters for YEARS. It's not strange, foreign or odd to relate and understand that love is love, sex is sex, hate is hate, regardless of whom it's directed towards. That's the point of drama: to relate to things, to see the differences, but also recognize the commonality. |

Excuse my French, everyone....but this is complete and utter bullshit!!!!!! :fight: :fight: :fight: :fight: :fight: (I just found out about the news maybe 25 minutes ago... I was sick the last couple of days.) I may have gotten involved with Kish late but I, wholeheartedly feel in love with both the actors and the storyline. For the actors to get completely blindslided with the news by way of TV Guide/Twitter/ other soap sites and then be blamed for lack of connection with 'mainstream' audiences is fu**** up. That mainstream audiences excuse is complete and utter bull. Hell, my grandmother is in her early 60's and didn't have a problem with it. My BF, a new fan of OLTL mainly because of Kish, is currently sitting at the kitchen table, expressing his complete disgust of the entire situation to a fellow soap friend of ours AND his mom through a three way call. Now seriously, if a STRAIGHT MAN is cursing the ground ABC DAYTIME exists on, the mainstream audience excuse doesn't hold a bit of water. This is 2010, not the freaking Dark Ages. It is totally messed up that they are caving into pressure from homophobic, idiotic bigots who wouldn't know love if it slapped them in the freaking face!!! As soon as Kish's last episode airs, I'm freaking done with ABC DAYTIME completely. If anything, Kish brought viewers in. Now that they are foolish enough to treat us all like we're dumb idiots, I honestly hope that the ratings tank even further, to the extent of cancellation. As for Scott and Brett, the both of them are MEGA talented and I know that they will go on to bigger and better things. They have both found a lifelong, loyal fan in me and I will continue to follow their careers. Bonus: I hope they both score Daytime Emmys... just for the pure F**K YOU that it would entail. :) Edited by Kalera, Mar 11 2010, 07:12 PM.

Alright fans let's do it. Let's do a campaign to save Kish come on RC is so devestated by this news and so is everybody else. Let's save our favorite couple. Scott and Brett love working with each other and love OLTL. |

I mentioned this on another thread but... Another idea to show Kish support: watching OLTL on Kish days on abc.com or Hulu. They pay attention to online viewings through official sources like that more so than YouTube. If they see the viewings go up on Kish days then that couldn't hurt. The show usually goes up a few hours after it airs on tv, I think. |
