I'm still so angry. I keep trying to remind myself that we've got a few more weeks of them to go...but it doesn't help. |

i dont know if they are idiots. obviously the story hit a nerve with SOME kind of audience. the thing that is idiotic is that the show didn't ignore the haters and instead, said "ok you win. we'll write them off..." |

Perhaps Michael Logan deliberately wanted his report to be inflammatory so that's why he used the wording he did when discussing his theory/explanation for KO'ing KISH and what his source told him. |

Thats exactly how i'm feeling. Brett and Scott were so cute and adorable in that interview, even though i tried hard just to enjoy it, and i did, i laughed, and awwwed at everything they said and did. But inisde i was crying, and i had a horrible feeling inside my stomach, almost a sickly! I hope i'm not going to feel like this everytime i see Kish onscreen :waah: Brett and Scott were so positive and excited about their work, and working together - so sad :waah: |

I've already started to get that heavy heart sickly feeling in my stomach and chest everytime i watch a clip of them, now clips that i used to love watching as soon as i woke up everyday make me cry instantly! i've been trying to take my mind off of it by watching one of my other fave couples Kevin and Scotty from brothers and sisters and reminding myself of the words scott tweeted earlier Onwards and Upwards! but i'm still so sad! god knows what i'm gonna be like when i see them in new episodes next week (or whenever their on next) :waah: :sigh: It's funny because as i mentioned i was watching brothers and sisters episodes trying to take my mind off of being so sad for a while and one of the main characters Nora (Played by Sally Field) said this in an episode: "If something bad is going on in your life....then you have to acknowledge it, have the courage to let go, Hurt like HELL!, and move on!" Thats what i'm trying to do, :brokenheart: I've never felt so hurt over something like this before! I'm not ready to let go yet, we were just getting started! :waah: Edited by Amyg90, Mar 11 2010, 04:34 PM.

Okay everyone DO NOT give up. I was just talked to Jamey Giddens of Daytime Confidential and he told me this: I think it's worth the fight. Generally threats of boycotting never work, although the Spixie fans from General Hospital did tune-out days, and they got the couple back. I'd say the best thing you can do is call the network and write in. Also call our hotline to say what Kish meant to you, and encourage your friends to do the same. I know they listen to us. Even though the networks hate us! LOL |

Really, that worries me a little. I'll try to enjoy their scenes till April as always, but I'm afraid that I'll be thinking of how they've been treated and that those will be their last scenes all the time, and that will kind of ruin it for me... Oh, how I hate ABC/OLTL for that!! |

J - I wanted to share that some thought with you last night. It does seem like Mr. Logan deliberately used language like that, because he wanted folks to get mad and angry (as we have the right to be). ABCD have literally bared their necks to these homophobic wolves out there. This invisible, but oh so powerful "mainstream audience" just couldn't deal with having a storyline that focused on two independent, motivated, professional male characters that ALSO happened to love and have sex with each other on a regular basis, without one of them wanting to kill themselves over it. I think that Michael Logan's tired of the same double-talk, bullshit, backtracking garbage that continues to come out of these showrunners mouths. It happened with Wheeler (Guiding Light), Goutman (As The World Turns) and now Valentini/Frons (One Life to Live). Michael's been in this industry for over 20 years, correct? He knows bullshit when he hears it and I think he just said "fuck it". |
