I think his tweet that he wasn't planning on leaving OLTL was in response to the Nelson Branco dish on him. |

Me too AR. He would never tweet to his fans something like this if he was thinking about leaving. I mean it's obvious that he loves OLTL and his current storyline and he loves the people who he works with. So I was never worried in the first place. I mean people love to start rumors all the time and people just think it's true and start posting everywhere. |

I would love to see Scott on a prime time show and this "Reagan's Law" sounds like an amazing opportunity. Good luck to him. I hope he gets the part. |

I've watched so many of my favorite shows, actors, and characters go away that I don't panic anymore :) I just appreciate what we get and look forward to something new. I have quite a few actors that I follow from project to project and it's quite fun to see them attack different roles. It frustrates me more to know that OLTL has Scott and Brett yet uses them so sparingly. Whatever the future brings, I am not adverse to Kyle or Oliver leaving the SL (if it Brett or Scott's CHOICE to leave) and either character pursuing a new relationship. Please just don't kill off either character. I don't need that pain :) |

Oh ltklo I agree with you about the actors attacking different roles! I love seeing them do other stuff than Kyle and Oliver too, but I'm being selfish here and KISH really only exists since last June. I know they will both eventually leave the show, I would just wish that it wasn't for another long while.. However, I know I would have a hell of a difficult time seeing any of the two being re-cast..... Just can't think about this... nope.. :annoyed: Right now, I'm more annoyed too, at them being used so sparingly, you are so right!! |

I'd have to agree with you both. I've lost some characters/actors in the past that I loved on various shows, but since Kish hasn't been around for that long, it would be nice to have them around for a bit longer. I would not be in favor of a re-cast for either as well. I know some re-casts have been successful, but I can't imagine anyone replacing Scott or Brett. If one of them should leave, I'd rather see them meet a new character to fall in love with....maybe the build up of another romance...Kish Part 2! I'm sure we'll all come up with a fun, new smush name for them. |

If SE left, and Brett wanted to stay (or wasn't released from his contract) i'd want Oliver to be killed. It could be one of those situations where he goes missing presumed dead. In soap world if there's no body found, characters can always come back from the dead - it happens all the time on soaps. I would HATE for them to re-cast Oliver, re-casting half of a popular couple never works, IMO. Also i would HATE to see Brett act out the Kish s/l with someone else. BC and SE have amazing chemistry, thats why Kish works so well, and why i love them so much. If SE leaves the Show only has two options imo, kill off Oliver or give Kish a sunshine ending and release Brett from his contract. It's not like they use Brett/Kyle in any other way in the show accept to support Oliver, so it's not like we'd be giving up a great s/l, cause outside of Kish, Kyle seemingly doesn't get any :annoyed: |

Oh totally! Rather see the one character that is remaining, mourn the loss of his partner and eventually find new love. But no re-cast, please! Rather even, have the other character leave the show too.. hmm.. :dunno: :sigh: |
