QUESTION: At the age of 7, what did you hope to do for a living? Brett Claywell: "I think I wanted to be a professional soccer player. I always loved to play soccer and wanted to do it forever." Scott Evans: "I wanted to be a homicide detective, and I think I still do. This is just a side job. [Laughs]." |

Awww. Cute. BC plays soccer today, right? Although not professionally. And SE, as Oliver, especially in John McBain's orbit, is pretty close to a homicide detective. Funny how life works out sometimes! (Not that it matters, but I think when I was 7 I wanted to be a concert violinist. I'm an English Prof. today. And I can't play a note on a violin anymore. Sigh.) |

I think a lot of boys want to be afsootball (soccer) player when they're younger. Although i didn't think that it had a huge following in the US so i'm surprised it's a dream of young kids over there. Over here in the UK football (soccer - sorry folks i refuse to call it that :LMAO: ) is massive, i always go to the pub and watch the footie if it's teams i enjoy, and occasionaly go to Aberdeen FC, my home club, ground to support them (but we're rubbish now, unfortunately we're nowhere near as good as we were in our heyday in the 80's!) It's funny how life works out sometimes isn't it. Scott is, at least a detective in a tv show, so he's kinda got his wish. I'd love to be a Forensic Scientist, which is weird cause i'm not that into science (loved English, Drama and History at school), but i think Forensics would be really facinating. |

I knew BC was going to say a pro soccer player! He stills plays and he definitely is built like one. I always went for the soccer players in high school - not really into football players. Funny, how life turns out b/c my husband was a soccer player in h.s. - he's Italian so it's practically a rite of passage! And as for SE- what's better than being a detective/cop in real-life? Playing one on tv! Edited by blonde, Mar 4 2010, 07:10 AM.
