Most definitely. Scott and Brett better not go to AMC if the show gets canceled but it's not going to be we are safe until next year or if and when September rolls around of this year and announces the next soap getting canceled. |

Quote from SoapNet's recap for the 2/24/09 episode in which Brett made his first OLTL appearance: "Then they are all surprised by the arrival of the kid who ran the DNA tests. He tells them that David's father is someone in Llanview who's DNA they had on file. But who? Everyone's jaws drop to the floor when the kid tells them it's Rex Balsom. Say what?" This recap was written by David Ozanich. I realize our beloved Kyle was a newbie to the show at this time, but I'm a little miffed Ozanich could only bring himself to refer to Kyle as "the kid." Hmmph! It'll be interesting to see when Kyle acquires his name in these recaps which, btw, I'm in the process of reading for an article I'm writing on Kish. Does anyone know of other good sources for OLTL recaps on stories and characters going as far back as Oliver's (SE's) first appearance on the show? |

Yeah i read something similar, saying that even if OLTL gets axed that Kish fans shouldn't worry cause they'll simply move to Pine Valley on AMC. Hopefully OLTL is safe for at least another year :crossed: |

I heard the exact same thing too. I started up watching AMC again b/c of that reason. I figured I'd better be up to speed on the residents of Pine Valley. I could see where Kyle would fit in at the hospital under Angie as chief of staff and Fish would fit right in working under Jessie the chief of detectives. I think Brett wrote that he wants to make it another year pleaaassssee b/c he realizes that noone's job is safe under any circumstances. He's smart enough to know that.
