The Whore of Babylon

Joss Whedon is my (writing/creative) god. He's the creator behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly and Serenity (featuring OLTL alumn Nathan Fillion), and Dollhouse, which has just been cancelled, but Brett was in about three episodes as a client who got tied up (for fun n' games) by Eliza Dushku's main character. Plus, no talk about Dollhouse can be had without this gem from this past season... Posted Image Sorry. I look for any and all excuses to post the "Brett Go BOOM!!" gif. |

I looove the cover, Brett is so photogenic, he's smouldering in that photo :sigh: I agree with everything you've said. We don't have Pageants in the UK, but we have things like Miss UK, or Gay UK, which are simillar, but they are nowhere near as popular or as big as they are in the US. I don't mind Brett doing a couple of them for fun, but i don't want him to become one these actors who does them all the time, cause i think people start thinking you're not particularly serious about your career. I want Brett to become a huge star, gaining lots of different roles in tV, movies etc, cause i think he's a fantastic acotr and deserves that recognition. Kyle and Tim (OTH) are worlds apart. I loved Tim, but there wasn't much emotional depth to his character, he was more the light relief. Whereas Kyle is a multi-layered, three dimensional, complex character. i think going from Tim to Kyle just shows how brilliant Brett is. |

The Whore of Babylon

I think BC would excel on stage (we ALL know how well Mr. Shouty can project  ) and since I'm partial to indie features and scripted dramas, I'd love to see him in one of those types of things. Brett could make a nice career out of being a character actor, the way he loses himself in these roles. I think I just sort of had a brief, nightmarish thought while watching The Soup, because they had a segment on child pageants, and the thought of Mr. Claywell hosting stuff like that after OLTL ends just.... :vomit: And... Oh, and in case that wasn't clear enough, the thought also... :brokenheart: (BTW, I love the new emoticons. Have I mentioned that yet???) Edited by WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot, Jan 27 2010, 07:08 AM.

I'd love for Brett to make his name as a character actor, cause, like you say, he just loses himself in the roles, and immerses himself completly in the character. I also think he would excel in the theatre, his facial expressions, and the way he tells a story with his eyes would translate so well on the stage. Every emotion would be felt by the audinece, which is what the theatre is all about :smooch: |

Plus... Brett would have no problems projecting on stage! He's very... loud! Which is one of the things I love about his acting style, even though I know he may need to learn how to modulate his voice. |

Joss Whedon is brilliant !!! He does use the same actors alot so if he liked Brett he'll use him again. Hopefully he won't blow him up though :wow: I would love to see Brett do some Show Time or indie stuff. I bet that boy can yell and have a beautifully dirty mouth  Plus seeing a little of his skin wouldn't hurt !!! I think he could play an undercover cop well too. Him and Scott could be partners !!! |
