I love it long and wavy!

Wow! That was beautiful. I can write rhyming poems but not nonrhyming. My hat is off to you. Simply great! |

Free verse is actually much easier, but the odd rhyme that I never expected to make slips in every now and then, enhancing the piece. be sure to check out the other two |

Hi AzureHorizon, I was reading some of the work in another post (I read your story there too - it was great! You are seriously talented! I love the imagery that you've created) and saw the mention of poems and I really wanted to read them. Thankfully, I was linked here by smuchshypush (thanks!) or else, I wouldn't have found this until much later. I was tempted to quote the whole piece because I enjoyed all of it but I won't. Instead, I'll choose one paragraph that was particularly powerful (it was hard to pick just one):
Oh, and your little tidbit of personal information about the song? I just have to say that it made my heart go out for you and want to give you a hug... is that strange? :nervous: I'm probably going to go and read all your all other poems now. Don't be alarmed by my comments, I tend to ramble. |

AH: I'm sorry. I just caught this poem. You have succeeded in making me cry. Damn you. :-) |
