http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xa4jjs_morelayla_shortfilms I wish they had not cut this. A Cayla fan posted this over at the Cayla board and it just astounds me what they will cut these days. Edited by Tashlover, Aug 16 2009, 09:34 PM.

"Fish is on the level" hmmm, it seems as though his fellow officers suspect the Fish is "different" the writers should have explored that. |

What does on the level mean? |

I disagree. It's an okay scene, but I also can see why they cut it. This can be discussed/dealt with a future episode. But, IMO, I'm sure the writers have a good reason why it was snipped.

It is my understanding from Jamey and the folks at Daytime Confidential that there are a lot of cuts to storylines on OLTL that the writers are not in favor of. I think this is more than an OK scene in the sense that we would have seen the pressures that Fish spoke of about to Layla at work for ourselves. They can deal with it later but I think it would have elevated his emotional conflict if we had seen those prior to him going home and having sex with Layla. |

I'm unclear of the timing for the deleted scene. Is it BEFORE Layala went postal on Oliver for boasting they were dating? Or after he blabbed the secret and she took him to task for it? I feel slightly bad for the 3 guest actors whose scene ended up on the cuttingroom floor. But overall, I'm with Anthony in not much caring they cut it. And it sorta implies Oliver couldn't score a "babe" like Layla. I haven't picked-up anywhere along the way that people (co-workers specifically) think Fish is a looser, which seems to underpin this scene. How exactly does a deleted scene find it's way to the net? Anyone know? Thanx Nukester |

Judging by what Layla was wearing this scene was set to air right AFTER the time Layla and Fish agreed to make up after the fight you mentioned. ABC releases some of the deleted scenes periodically. |

I don't think it was a big deal that it was cut. I think they were referring to Fish at that point as a "tech geek" as opposed to a beefy cop. Layla is considered a hot commodity and for Fish to claim he's dating her to the guys would probably make them laugh. They simply wouldn't believe a "tech geek" cop would snag a hot commodity. And yes, all the shows cut lots of stuff out. |

I don't know if I put this in the right spot. Does anyone know if there is any links to screencaps of Kyle and Oliver scenes? |
