Too funny. I tried to block it out, but I'm traumatized. I hate that scene. Even though I saw it coming, my jaw dropped and hung there for a while. I think I need hypnotherapy to forget! :waah: Breeeeeeeettttttt! |

I'm rewatching "Dollhouse" and, as we know, Brett's in the pilot as Echo's first client. Some thoughts: 1) Damn does Brett look good. and 2) Imagine you're Brett, an up-and-coming actor. Imagine you get cast in the pilot episode of a new show from Joss Whedon, which guarantees a certain number of eyeballs and interest. And then you show up for work and they're like, "You'll be spending the day dancing with Eliza Dushku, who is wearing a dress that barely covers her crotch." That's a pretty good day the office. LOL. |

Let us frankly discuss the mad hot sex we're about to have.
|
And if we go by the commentary for that episode, both Eliza and Joss fell madly in love with him, which makes me smile and giggle like a little schoolgirl. Sigh. Soooooooo dreamy! :sigh: |

I so love that commentary: Eliza:"He's hot" "adorable, scrumptious" Joss: "I liked Brett, you liked Brett" "I'm offended because your client is so gorgeous" I love that they both say "Brett" when he takes off his helmet. I have listened to many commentaries where, unless it's a special guest star or someone important to an entire episode, such as Jamie Bamber or Patton Oswalt (speaking specifically of Dollhouse), the producers and directors will say something like "this actor" when discussing guest stars with smaller roles. It is clear that Brett, with one long scene in the pilot and a couple of smaller ones in two more episodes over two seasons, made a great impression on both Joss and Eliza. What can I say, I'm an unapologetic Brett fangirl. Edited by stormymac, Jul 15 2011, 08:07 PM.
