Friday meant PAAAAAR-ty! to ΚΑΔ brothers, as did Saturday and to a lesser degree any other day. To Kyle Lewis, the two nights of heavy boozing meant much more. He wandered from the kitchen, thru the diningroom, into the TV/game room checking for his fraternity brother. Found him. Oliver Fish sat too close to a sorority sister, trying to engage her in football rehashing. When Kyle sat down beside his friend, the unknown woman took the opportunity to leave, immediately. "Aaaaahhh, brother!" Oliver Fish slapped a well oiled arm around his house-mate's shoulder. "You gotta (*burp*), gotta loosen up. All studies and no funny makes Lewis..." he searched his brain for some ending to the addled saying, "...stink." Kyle removed the nearly full 24 ounce plastic cup of Budweiser form his roommate's hand and put it on the coffee table. He put an arm around Oliver and slowly began rising, pulling Oliver with him. The pre-med student then began guiding his frat-bro toward the stairs. This was where Lewis's anticipated weekends always began, drunk-walking Oliver to their third floor bedroom. At the top of the second landing, Fish automatically delivered one of his three, routine lines, "This is a great party, man." "Yup," the sober man agreed. Tomorrow it might be the same exchange, or version two ["Let's have another beer, first." "Nope."], or three ["I love you, brother." "I love you too, brother."]. By the top, the climb usually cleared Oliver's head enough to regain his legs and meander to their room at the far end of the hall. Repeated remodeling of the old farmhouse over the years had doubled the kitchen and expanded the dining area on the main floor. Projects also added a fire escape and two rooms to the second floor, plus fire stairs and their oddly gabled room on the third. But the slapped-on bedroom had two things going for it. It looked out over the tree hedge toward the campus waste water treatment plant, and it shared no walls with other rooms. Fish opened the door and trod in, leaving it for Kyle to close and lock. The blitzed sat on his bed a moment considering his options: flop backwards and fall asleep, kick off his shoes, go downstairs and get his beer, unbutton his shirt, take a piss,... He got up and walked past his roommate to engage in the highest priority. "Takin' a leak." "Good idea." A few minutes later, Oliver returned. This time he locked the door before sitting on the bed opposite Lewis's. He stared, unthinking. Kyle sat gazing back, hoping. Oliver smiled. Lewis smiled warmly. Fish tilted slightly left, "I love you, brother." There were two times the Kappa man uttered those words, during fraternity rituals and during bouts of intoxication. Fortunately for Kyle, there were a lot of both at Kappa Alpha Delta. Lewis pushed off his shoes before standing, "I love you, too." He stepped across the room and sat beside his secret weekend lover. Sitting, it was Kyle's turn to assess things. His cardiac muscle had drastically increased pumping. His ears pulsed. There were vascular dilatation and glanular tumescence... Oliver kicked off his left, then right shoe. He pulled off his right, then left sock. Kyle began mirroring actions. This was by no means a matter of dominance and submission. Often, Lewis would lead a move--unbutton his shirt / unbuckle his belt, first. This was a matter of morality. The sober would not exploit the drunken... other than taking advantage of the momentaryily shed inhibition. It was, arguably, a large violation; but the passion Oliver brought to their trysts, muted any accusation. The men began kissing. This was worth every long hour Lewis had to pretend he wasn't in love. Kyle felt heaven in his partner's arms; but it was heaven aware of hell at the other side, for as well as Oliver severed all feelings for Lewis in daylight, his lover lived bound by them, always. Great story, Nukester! You captured the characters. Kyle is such a hoot! No wonder Oliver loves him so much. I can't wait to read another one of your stories. |

I love it long and wavy!

Jeez Nukester, you surprised me. This was a serious story. I was expecting something entirely different. It was very good and I knew you could do it. Though I did laugh when I read the line about his 'cardiac muscle'. Very appropriate since Kyle is a pre-med student. *smiles* |

Thank you kind readers. :-/ SoapTater, yes, I thought I'd write something serious (for me) to build a false impression on the board, before launching into my lymerics and musicals. I particularly liked my muse's line "... [Their room] looked out over the ... campus waste water treatment plant..." I so like a room with a pee-u. Write on, ficers! Nukester |

I was also surprised and how more "serious" this was than what your normal fic usually is. Did a great job though. |

How great to be able to read about them in college. Since I am a person with practically no imagination of my own I am a sucker for written stories involving the favourite couple of the month. So I really would love to read more of your stories ^_^ Thank you very much !!! Edited by Martial, Aug 21 2009, 05:16 PM.
