I didn't see the thread so I hope it's ok to have started one. It was an interesting episode but I really really miss Kyle (among the quadrangle is my favourite). It seems to me that Fish is immersed himself completely in his relationship with Layla which shows how much he fears Kyle proximity. I wondering how far he will go to prove himself (and Kyle) that he isn't into him anymore. |

Amaryllis I agree with every single word. In yesterday episode Fish seemed like a man possessed benting to prove that he had deep feelings for Layla. I hope to see more Kyle next week too. By the way Fish was really REALLY cute in his uniform. |

Oliver and Layla's scenes were . . .interesting. . .yesterday. Yes, I did notice how hard he is trying to make this relationship work with Layla. IMO, the harder he tries, the worst he feels. I noticed the kisses were different yesterday, as opposed to the other day. Yesterday, it seemed liked he wanted Layla to lay off on the kisses! I think he would have been just as happy to shake hands with her. :LMAO: Maybe it was just me, but I thought Oliver was thinking about Kyle after Layla told him he was kinda cute. Oliver had that certain smile and faraway look in his eyes after she said it. Kyle must have called him cute! Like I said, it was probably just me and my over active imagination. :$ |

Fish doesn't seem like to be a great kisser. At least when it comes to kissing girls... |

That was all for Kyle's benefit. But Kyle wasn't buying what Fish was selling. |

I'm talking about those kissing scenes between Fish and Layla in the kitchen and in John McBain's office where Kyle wasn't around to witness such kisses. Those were not good kissing scenes at all. They looked so uncomfortable. Not sure whether it's Scott's choice to make it look like that or if it's the writing or directing or some combination thereof. |

I'd like to think it's a conscious choice by the actors and the directors: really, neither Fish nor Layla's heart is in it--Fish is trying to project an image for both the outside world and himself while Layla is subconsiously using Fish to deflect/make jealous Cristian. So the kisses have to appear a little awkward.
