Ok, guys. I'm back with a brand new story. Hope it will be as good as the last one! Disclaimer: I don't own these characters, ABC/Disney does. Title: Stacy's return. Synopsis: In a bind when Rex and Gigi disown her, Stacy Morasco moves on to plan B. How will Fish react when she comes back to his life? Part 1 coming soon. Edited by OliverFishFan, Jul 14 2009, 09:38 PM.

Part 1 (Note: I know you guys may absolutely hate Stacy by the end of Part 1. Be patient, it’s only Part 1. :P ) 7:30 AM, 5 July A knock on the door jolted the little apartment. Oliver Fish, the only guy available in the house, arose from his slumber in his yellow jammies and headed for the door. Layla, his roommate as well as a girl in which he is seeing, was already out for her shift at the police office, while Cris, his Latino roommate was visiting with his mother. Straightening his shirt, he hobbled toward the door and quickly opened it. In walks a blonde, a rather familiar blonde with a face Fish could never forget. “Stacy, what brings you here?” asked Fish as he sees young Stacy Morasco wipe her eyes, red with tears. Turning her head away from Fish, Stacy sniffles and sobbed, “I’m so ashamed and alone. You know my boyfriend Rex? Well, he dumped me for that witch of a sister and her bratty kid. After all I did for him…teach him dancing, give him nice dinner, oh, let’s not forget the afternoon delight at Ultraviolet. So unthankful.” Feeling sorry, Fish rested his hands on Stacy’s shoulder. “There, there. It will all get better. I had my share of heartbreak. In fact, you helped cause some of it,” Fish joked, trying to lighten the mood. However, the heartbreak was no laughing matter for Fish. In many ways, he was still reeling from a failed relationship, one that had nothing to do with Stacy. More tears flowed out of Stacy’s gentle eyes followed with ugly bawls. Stammering, Fish continued, “Oh man, I shouldn’t have brought it up, Stacy. Sorry, I know I’m not really your type and all. You rather have Rex, and that’s totally cool.” Lifting her hands over Fish’s mouth, Stacy got him to calm down and be quiet. “It’s OK. Just hand me one of your cop weapons so I can shoot myself,” Stacy droned in a nonchalant tone. Taking the empty threat seriously, Fish panicked, “Oh no, Stacy. Life is worth living. I’m sure you can move on. Hey, what say you move in here? You can sleep in my room…and I’ll go to the couch to sleep, of course. I mean, you do need a place to stay since Rex kicked you out and all. Just don’t kill yourself, please.” Shaking her head, Stacy squeaked, “No, I don’t want to be a burden,” “Oh, I insist. It’s the, um, least I can do after coming on too strong. I mean, one night together doesn’t mean we are lovers, right? I must have freaked you out, and such. You know what they say: Here today, gone tomorrow,” Fish giggled at his corny tirade. Regaining her composure, Stacy took a deep breath and answered, “You’re babbling again, honey. Also, since you seem remorseful for what happened after the Go Red ball, I’ll take you up on your offer. I’m gonna go to the mall for a bit. Thanks very much,” The blonde followed her statement with a quick kiss on Fish’s cheek. The young cop blushed and Stacy went her way out the door. 8 PM, 5 July “We got some Subway!” yelled Cris as he made his way inside the apartment with Layla. Fish stood up from the kitchen table to greet them. “Save it, look what we got!” Fish gestured towards 3 plates of Chicken Parmesan. His roommates picked up their jaws and made their way to the kitchen table. “I didn’t know you can cook, Fish. It looks really good,” exclaimed Layla as she picked up her silverware. “Hey, you don’t compliment my cooking, Layla. I know you love my specialties, too,” whined Cris. In response, Layla playfully smacked Cristian at the back of his head, while Fish watched with his usual cheerful expression. Afterwards, they all settled down to chow at the food. After about a few minutes, Fish cleared his throat and said, “I’ve got an announcement to make, guys. I…didn’t make this Chicken Parm,” Layla patted him on the shoulder. “Aww, it’s OK,” she said in a saccharine tone that made Cris pretend to gag. Hands shaking, Fish slowly worked up the nerve to say, “There’s another part to the announcement, folks. Yeah…well, I’ve invited a houseguest over to spend 2 weeks or so here, if that’s OK, you know. I was thinking, Cris, you had your niece stay over once or twice, and Layla, you had your mom stay over here also. So I was hoping…” Cris interrupted Fish, who seemed to be straining to explain himself, “Sure thing. You pay a third of the rent. You have the right to invite somebody over. Is it your friend Kyle from college?” Cris’s question met with a sharp elbow from Layla and a frazzled grimace from Fish. Though, any mention of Kyle can do that to Fish. “They’re not friends, CRISTIAN. Geez, you insensitive jerk. But, yes, Cris is right. You can invite over anybody you want, Fish,” smiled Layla at Fish. “I was hoping you’d say that. Stacy Morasco was the one who made the Chicken Parm and…she’s our houseguest,” After hearing the name, Layla was nearly about to lose her dinner. “You can invite anyone over…but her, Fish. She’s a skank. Plain and simple. She’s gonna try and use you again!” shrieked Layla. “Please, Layla. Rex Balsom just dumped her and she has nowhere else to go,” pleaded Fish. “Look, I don’t know this Stacy, but let’s just give her chance, OK? I know Rex and he dumped his wife, my cousin Adriana, for someone else. I think I know what Stacy’s going through,” added Cristian while Fish nodded his head in agreement. Sighing, Layla relented, with a condition: “Since I’m outvoted here, she can stay. One toe out of line with that Barbie doll, and she’s out the door. Understood?” “Yes, ma’am,” said Fish and Cris in unison. 4 PM, 8 July “I’m back from fighting the bad guys!” hollered Fish as he came back from work. Stacy was at the kitchen wearing only her lacy underwear. “Oh, hey. I made some Chicken Parmesan again! I know you guys like that stuff,” Excited, Fish ran over to the food. “Yes! I’m so beat and starved. Thanks, Stacy. You always know how to keep a man happy,” “Well, I couldn’t keep Rex happy, so I don’t know about that, but thanks for the compliment,” Stacy sighed. “His loss, Stacy. I know you love Rex. But sometimes, love hurts… I’m glad we’re, eh, friends again,” mumbled Fish between chews. “He was my first love, Fish. I was just a dorky little girl with glasses and braces. Nobody cared for or liked me. When Rex picked up my books, I felt like someone gave me respect for the first time ever in my whole life,” Being marginalized for being a shy, awkward, video game nerd, Fish felt he could sympathize with Stacy’s pain. “Oh, I felt the same way about my first love. My first love didn’t see me as some tech nerd, but as a real person with feelings,” Stacy smiled, “Was I your first love, Fish?” “No, haha.” “Oh, is it the dark-skninned, Beyonce chick you’re living with right now?” “Her name is Layla and she’s African-American and she’s beautiful, Stacy. But, no, she’s not my first love either. It was back in college,” Fish explained. Suddenly, a curious look flushed over Stacy’s face. “Oh, I see. Wait a sec, I was the first girl you ever slept with and you told me that night that no other girl made you feel so good before. How is that possible, Fish? If that girl from college was your first love, why didn’t she make you feel good?” Stacy was starting to get suspicious. Harried by all the questions, Fish became defensive. “It wasn’t exactly anything, to be honest. Maybe I was exaggerating about the first love thing, but… “ Before Fish could say any more, Stacy held up her left forefinger over her mouth to shush him. “I just have one question Fish. Your first love…it wasn’t a girl, was it?” asked Stacy with an eyebrow raised. Lowering his shoulders in a defeated gesture, Fish turned his head from Stacy in shame. End of Part 1. Comments are always welcome. I love you guys and I look forward to writing Part 2. Edited by OliverFishFan, Jul 3 2009, 10:36 AM.

Another great start to a Kish love story. I'm not a fan of Stacey's either, but as long as the end result is Kish, I say go for it! I don't know. . . If I were Fish, Stacey would not be the one I would confess to! |
