The PM (Private Messaging) System is pretty straightforward and should be familiar to everyone, though I'd just like to note that a few changes can/should be made in the settings. You can access the PM System through your Inbox link, located on the top of the Board.![]() * link may be displayed differently Once you access your Inbox, you'll be able to see two main areas of the available settings. Under "Message Center", click "PM System Settings":
Another nice feature we offer you is the ability to download your PMs to your PC. You can do that by clicking "Download Messages" under "Manage Messages" area on the right. You can select either the Inbox, Archive or your own unsent PMs (Drafts) to download. I would also like to point out that, when using the PM System, by default you are not able to delete any PM right from the Inbox. In order to get rid of it, you need to Archive it first. From the PM page you can only Forward the same, unchanged PM to another member, but Archiving is done through the Inbox page. So once you read your PM you can load back the Inbox page, select the messages by ticking the check-box on the right hand side, and then click on the "Archive" button. To proceed with deleting any PM, load the "Archive" page and, again, tick the check-box of selected messages on the right, then click "Delete". For any questions about the PM System, you can post a Help topic. |
