Harken sat at a small table in the corner, all alone. At the moment he was torn, a lack of allies was severly holding him back, and he needed more troops for his operations. At the same time he was all alone, he had no one to confide in or trust completely. Looking for soldiers or someone to simply talk with, he scanned the crowd but was unable to determine anything. He sighs and lays his head on the table, upset that he's going to be spending another night by himself, surrounded by people having the time of their lives. OOC: Anyone can join. |

Yukito strode past groups of people, a wary look on his face. Everywhere else was packed to the brim, except near the grim stranger at a nearby table. Yukito thought, "what the hell?" and sat down at the table. Edited by Yukito, Mar 1 2009, 12:03 PM.

At first Harken sits up, startled and thinking that one of his fellow revolutionaries had found him. Eying the man on the other side of the table, he realized that this was no ally, but he didn't have the look of an agent of the Dream Lord...no, this man was a stranger. And each stranger was a potential ally...or a potential enemy. Raising a hand and beconing to a nearby waitress/bar maid, the attractive woman made her way through the crowd. When she reached the table she leaned over and Harken quietly whispered into her ear. She looked at Yukito, then back at Harken and nodded before walking off. Harken then turned his attention back to the new stranger. Harken: The hour is late, and the company is locked in a state of blissful unison, crowded upon the dance floor and at their tables. Yet here you and I sit, alone, apart from the rest of the room. My name is Harken, and I would like to ask you a question, a question that is simple, and yet complicated. A question that has but two answers, and yet innumerable answers. Have you ever commited murder? *Harken leans over the table a little, placing his elbows on the surface and folding his hands in front of his face.* |

Yukito: Perhaps we should continue this talk another time *winks at Harken* We'll see each other again. *gets up* You can have my chair. He walks out through a side door. |

Harken: *Watches Yukito leave* ....Damn it. *Turns to Luneth* Sure, take a seat. I have nothing but open seats around me at the moment....*After Luneth sits down the attractive waitress comes back and places a drink in front of Harken. Noticing that Yukito left and someone else is in his place she's unsure if she should give Luneth the second drink but Harken nods to her, encouraging her to give him the beverage. She lays the second drink in front of Luneth before walking off again.* Harken: It seems there are more people out of place here then I initially thought....regardless, my name is Harken, and it's my pleasure to meet you Mr....? |

Luneth: agreed, most of the trapped, tends go come here. Where they fit in, which is why i come. Watching the drink come to the 2, Luneth nods as a gesture of thanks. Luneth: Hellos to you, Harken. You may call me Mr. Kurayami. So, since now that you know my reason of being here...what is yours? |

Harken: Well met, Mr. Kurayami. I see you get strait to the point...I like that. To be short, I am here recruiting. See, this world is ruled by the elementals and their ruler, the Dream Lord, as I'm sure you're aware. I have seen the injustices humans have suffered at the hands of these "elementals", and I would change that. While this "Dream Lord" is in power humans will always be opressed, I seek to free us from this opression. *Leans back in his chair, an interesting smile on his lips* So, you know my story. Now I would like to hear yours. You're here for the trapped? Who are these "trapped", and why are you after them? *tilts his head a little, slowly growing more and more interested.* |

Luneth: You see, i myself, am self acquainted with the dream lord himself. I've done some bidding for him...I dont recognize the burden he's given to the people...For if i have, he'd be long gone dead... Sighing as Harken asks the question... Luneth: Mr. Harken, i applaud your formalily..hehe, for you see. My job. Ensures the death of the sinners, and the trapped. Those who do not belong here...shall dissappear by my hands, or by the darkness.. |

Harken: Well, I can not blame you for missing these injustices, after all, from my experiences the Dream Lord is a very cunning..."man". A leader will not lead for long if he is unable to hide his crimes from his people. *smirks.* Interesting...you are a dealer of judgement, an agent of cleansing if you will. You remove what does not belong, so the pure and uncorrupted remain....ha....hahaha *begins to laugh* ...F-forgive me...it's just that I have seen such "cleansing" and "justice" used to take the lives of far too many innocent people before. I...did not mean to offend you or your job, if I did then I apologize. |
