Congratulations on the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. I think everyone agrees the games were a success so I would like to congratulate the organizers for putting on such a good event. Congratulations to Canada for winning the most gold medals of any nation but also for winning the most gold medals ever won by the host nation, the most gold medals won by one nation in the history of The Winter Games. Congratulations to our friends in The United States for winning the most medals of the games & congratulations to all the athletes that represented their countries. |

Today we were watching Red Bull Crashed Ice in Quebec; anyone ever see it? I guess it's most like roller blades on ice but it reminds me of BMX or road racing on skates. The track starts out 20 stories in the air & you race down it. It's got jumps, hairpin turns with cement walls & at the split, some skaters were doing 64 KPH. The last section had an insane downhill section. Two brothers from Canada finished first & third, Kyle & Scott Croxall. The guy that won the World Championship finished second. Really awesome sport. |

Boston Celtics lost to the LA Lakers, 89 to 67, last night, June 15, 2010. One game to go for the NBA championship. The Celtics have never lost Game 7 in the playoffs. Will history repeat itself, or will they go down in defeat? Update: Seventh game final score: 83 and 79 victory goes to the Lakers. Edited by L'Roy, Jun 19 2010, 11:05 PM.
