That is one of the best movies ever. One of the kids in it, Brad Renfrew (?) died last year. He was in a lot of good movies.
(The Cure)

There's a new Paul Gross movie coming out Friday that sounds really good, I saw a lot of scenes & stuff on E-Canada about it. Paul Gross was the Mountie on tv in Due South & he was in a bunch of movies like Men With Brooms & Passchendaele. He acts as an American gunfighter who comes to Canada back in the goldrush when you weren't allowed to have guns. Some people are saying that it used to be a real town in the old days but the town was built on a huge ranch in B.C. Check it out if you can but here's some links for now. Both have links to trailers.
Synopsis

Review

And there's a documentary film coming out soon about RUSH.

Howls moving castle (that is if you like anime movies and it's by the same director who did Spirited away.)

The Cure is a great movie, so is The Sand Lot and Bad News Bears. These latter two are on Comcast On-Demand free movies.

The new Karate Kid movie in theaters now has lots of Kung Fu type action.
Jackie Chan is great and so is the 12-year old star. It's about a boy who has to leave Detroit to move to China, where he doesn't know the language and hates the place. He is soon bullied in the school and on the playground by six mean kids, who beat him up pretty badly with their Karate. Jackie Chan (the janitor in the apartment) soon comes to the boy's defense. If you ever seen Jackie Chan's methods of fighting, they are great. Somehow without hitting others, he can deflect their blows to smack another of the attackers, or use their jacket against them. The cobra snake on the Great Wall of China is the movie clue.

I highly recommended the movie, but I can't stand the movie cost - $8.50 in my area. It was nice seeing it on Father's Day, but you will soon be able to buy it for about the same price.

8.50 is cheap, it's 12 where I live, not to mention the price of snacks.
