I just tried a demo for GT5. It feels like they shut off all the stability and traction controls or something. Every time you make the slightest turn the car skids out of control, and if it gets stuck on the sand which happens a lot you can only drive like 5MPH until you get off it. Plus the car looked pretty real, but the track didn't and the demo car at least had the wheel on the right which was pretty annoying since I'm used to driving on the left side. Hopefully they improve it a lot for the actual game, because I don't think I'd buy that as is.

That sounds like Forza Motersport. It's impossible to turn in that game.

My friend tried GT 5 Prologue when it first came out. He said the car looked real but that was before they put the interior in them so it was like GT3 & GT4. He used the new track & said it was really good. He didn't get to try it very long but he really liked it.

GT4 has some really great cars & tracks but the racing stinks.
If you use the time penalty on GT4, that's what it's like, your car slides around all out of control at 20 KPH ! It's like all of a sudden you're driving on ice! The Japanese drive on the right side so unless you have an American car like a Mustang or a Viper, the steering wheel is gonna be on the wrong side. I have that on Total Immersion Racing. I got used to the wheel on the wrong side pretty fast but I don't like the interior option cuz you can't see as much & it hurts my eyes. The inside views never look real anyways so I never use them, I don't know why some people made such a big thing about it for GT 5.

Listening to the Top 104 of the decade & watching the snowstorm start.

Everything is covered in snow & U2, Green Day & The White Stripes were in the top 5.

Watching Michael Moore's "Sicko."

A girl from British Columbia gave my sister Michael Moore's "Sicko" DVD. She and I watched it together. Halfway though, we could see the far left political propaganda that he was protraying in the documentary. We both got discusted with it and threw it in the the trash can where it belongs. Sorry DB if you liked it, but I thought it had a an appropriate name. The DVD is "Sicko." :X

I see from www.accuweather.com/canada is in for quite a snow storm throughout the night and then an ice storm on Sunday. Stay inside and keep off the roads. What is the water front like when a storm hits ? Do you get waves up on the land to flood the streets?

I guess Michael Moore doesn't really show both sides of an argument but why are Americans so afraid of free health care? Everyone has a gun to shoot people with but you can't have free health care if you get shot!

In answer to your question of why most U.S. people oppose the government's plan for free health care, here is why.

Free health care isn't free if you are working and paying taxes.
What the Left-wing government is trying to do right now is to have the tax payers up their income taxes for 4 years without any additional benefit. Four years from now, people who can't afford health care will get it free including some illegal aliens. In order to pay for this, the government takes out loans, currently from China, who is the largest holder of U.S. Securities. If they ever called for full payment, the U.S. would be bankrupt. What's more, it's the taxpayers children and grandchildren, who will be paying for these the next 10 years of health care far into the future, because we can't even afford the interest payments now.

The economic experts at the Health and Human Services Department concluded that the nation's health care tab WILL GROW MORE RAPIDLY under the Democratic plan to an estimated $234 billion over ten years. The Democrats also plan to SQUEEZE $493 billion in savings from MEDICARE for the elderly over ten years, which is already way more costly than ever anticipated.

There are also provisions in the Health Care plan that the government will have the say as to whether or not you will get any specialized care to solve a health issue if you are over 55, much less if over 65.

We may as well have a plan like the American Indians had: If you are too old, the tribe sent you out into the wildernes to starve until you died.

We are getting off topic here so if anyone wants to post anymore about this, how about starting a new thread.
When I went to the hospital for my flexible cystoscopy, we didn't have to worry about if we could afford it and we had a balanced budget until this year when the government spent a lot of money to make jobs

I'm glad you didn't have to pay.
Is it still snowing where you are?
I expected it to snow here tonight starting at 9 pm, but so far nothing.
I just went outside to check.

Correction: Since I first posted this note 10 minutes ago, it started to snow here.
