Bryson, I think I did about the same as always, some subjects I'm good at but I'll never get an A for math or French.

Lyssa, is there a beach near you?

Justin, how long are they staying for?

Well Dyl.. you can't be good at everything

Justin, that's good. Much better than when you dislike someone that's staying for a while and you sit there thinking "are they ever going to leave?".

How is everyone? Just posting before I go to bed. I've been up writing a letter (yes pen and paper letter) to my cousin.

Goodnight everyone :) or good morning/ afternoon when you read this rather.

Dylan the beach is probably around 6 hours away in Maryland. She will be back on Saturday I think. We have camp next week and I can't wait to see all my friends.

Today I was drying dishes at work. I was putting away a sharp knife. The same thought kept playing in my head. How easy ti would be to accidentally cut myself. I'm scared. I just want someone to tell me it will be okay and better yet I want to be able to believe them.

Lyssa,
There are medications that will help you. Some meds that the doctors recommend make you feel worse. If one is not agreeing with you, get off of it and get another. My mom and sister both suffer from depression. Mom was taking one med for 6 months, then she developed hives at midnight, which lasted until 4 in the morning. No one in the house got any sleep.
We suspected everything from food, to water, and to cats.
In the search box on my computer, I typed "hives Effexor." What I found was: "If you are experiencing hives, get off Effexor immediately. You are headed for a heart attack." The drug company switched to a time-release formula which peaked at midnight (They wanted to keep the price of the med high, so a generic could not be developed.)
Mom switched to another med, and she is doing fine. My sister is still seeking to find the right one for her. She is doing a lot of reading about receptors in the brain and which drugs work best for her problem. You will find something to help you, but you have to be aware of how you feel, and let the doctor know that what they are giving you is not working. There are more than a dozen different meds for depression, each just a little different.
I agree with Uncle Seuss on where his boot should go.
For those who didn't put the effort in their school work, such as math, and for those gangs in Vancouver, who rioted in the streets after the Stanley Cup Final Hockey game. They didn't represent the Canadiens that I knew in Newfoundland. As youngsters, we played for fun and didn't try to hurt each other. We also had a party with the other team after either winning or losing. ;)

Hey Dyl if you wouldn't mind telling Suess that I lost the link to SPANK, so it would be great if you could email me the website again.

Ironically I was on Effexer as well and it did nothing for me. This med seems to be okay so far. It's called Prozac. I am just hitting a rough spot lately. Some days I wonder if medication can even help. Apparently my case worker is sending e to counseling. :/

Yes I have been to many people and even had wrap around. Where they came to my home. But now everyone has left and I have no one. So my case worker thinks I need to talk to some one and is sending me to her friend.

Thanks DB

That's probably a good idea. It sounds like you're going to have a busy summer, sounds like a good one too. I heard you forgot to join the website first, don't forget to do that. Can't have Mods breaking the rules. Not that I'd know anything about that.
(hopes you forget about the time I changed your username)

Oh shoot. I thought I did that right but I guess not. Geez. I must have done ti when I was half asleep. Don't worry I will fix it.

I have camp then a week off. Vacation with my 'dad' then scout camp. Then I think free.

Yeah, it's kind of a drag that you have to register for the site & then the boards. We're going to link them together but you will still need to register for both because they are hosted on different servers. If we use a forum right on the site, it looks good but it's really lame. They don't have many features, like we can only have Mods, we can't have Forum Mods or Teen Mods. they aren't as secure and there is a limit on disc space, the boards we use don't have any limit.

Here are 2 website forums you can check out. This one is just a demo so you can join & play around with it, the site's gonna be deleted when we finish building the real site: Experiment
This one is on a site Uncle S is building so it will probably be a real board: Real
They look good but you can't do much to them.

Sounds like a really busy summer! Hope it's lot's of fun.
Hey does that mean you don't have time to have a SuperPower's war with me on the other site?

Lyssa,
Counseling is okay to have someone nice to bounce your feeling off and make suggestions. However, if your brain chemistry is off, counselling will do nothing for that. Keep up with the Prozac until you feel that it is no longer effective, then try something else like Zoloft. The SSRI medications, like these two, are slightly different but work the same. You have to be your own monitor for these drugs as to how you are feeling. Do not howver, go cold turkey off any of these without have another to use instead. Stay away from Ritilin, as the side effect of getting off is thoughts of suicide.

DB,
What are you up to this summer? Are you going to visit your brother?

Let me know when you plan to leave, so I know where to find you. You most likely won't have a computer at Grandpa's farm. Does he still have any farm animals to feed? I hope you have a great time. Don't forget your swim suit.

He doesn't have too many animals anymore. He's been semi-retired for a few years.
