Was pretty bad if you were in the old part of the city but it wasn't bad where I am. It didn't last that long it just hit all at once & really hard. I guess it was a lot worse when it was in The States. B-time & I'm late, G'night ! |

Hey guys sorry I haven't been around for a while. My parents got back from their trip to the Atlantic side of Canada and US today at like 8 in the morning. They went to my cousins wedding whom I've never even met. |

Lyssa, I was wondering why you weren't posting much. Do you think you'll get more online time on weekends? I hope everything was OK at the Dr's. Bryson, any idea what's wrong? I hope you feel better soon. Justin, so that's why everyone thinks Vancouver is? We invented Canada. :P |

You didn't invent Canada, the English Settlers invented Canada when they first met with the first nations people who were actually referring to their own village. So :P yourself Mister. |

Bryson, have you been to a Dr. yet to find out what's wrong? Justin, have you been to a Dr. yet? Sure the native people had a village called Canǎda but remember Sir John A. Macdonald, Sir Charles Tupper & all them guys? They invented the nation of Canada. Where were they all from? |

Sir John A McDonald was a Scotts man. The other people you just listed are English. Sir John A McDonald was born in Glasgow Scottland in 1815 on January 10th or 11th. He died in Ottawa Canada on June 6th 1891 at the age of 76. Being the Primeminister of Canada does make you a Canadian in a way but not in the same way as someone who was born here. And what do you mean have I seen a doctor yet? |

And what do you mean have I seen a doctor yet?"[/quote] I think you should see a DSr. because you aren't thinking straight. So Sir John A. Macdonald was of Scottish heritage living in New Scotland, what's wrong with that? Be polite or I'll show you what I wear under my kilt! Everyone gave up on Canada because it was too much work but Sir John A. pushed them until they made a nation. Then he led the nation as it's first Prime Minister. The west wouldn't join unless they got a rail road so he built that too. What's your excuse for Sir Charles Tupper? I found this & I thought it was really interesting, you might like to read it. http://www3.sympatico.ca/farini/peacock/pages/Aexcerpts/UnusualHeroes.html Lyssa, glad it was OK at the Dr's. What kind of a quiz meet is it? Good luck with it. |

It was bible quizzing. W memorize different books of the bible then compete. Our team came in last place and I came in 22nd place individually but it isn't bad for our first meet. |

Well my Weekend was okay until last night. Very big fight lots of screaming and ended with me walking out the door, I'm home now (obviously) but lets just say that things need to change else I don't think I can live with my parents any longer than I have. I'm just sick of everything getting blamed on me, every mistake made is a lesson learned but apparently not from their point of view. on a side note to Dylan: I don't recall which grade of Social Studies it is but I do recall our Textbooks and our teacher telling us that Sir John A. McDonald was quite an alcoholic but that doesn't make him any less of a man. In a way you could see why being Prime Minister drove him to drink. An entire nations problems and solutions resting on your hands and a small cabinet at the time. |

I heard he was a party animal but I think that used to be called a good Maritimer. I think it would of been very hard because he had to build a railraod right accross the country so he sort of had to handle the whole country's problems so he could build the country but he only got to run a few provinces because that's all that joined Canada. Lyssa, what book of the bible did you have to memorize? That sounds hard. Which one are you memorizing for next time? |

Well guys I believe this will be one of my last few posts here at this website. I'm 19 years of age and I think our age differences are starting to show. I know it may not seem like a huge gap in age difference but I just feel that my time on here is finished. I've had plenty of great times and plenty of bad times. But there comes a time when things must be said and done and I do believe that time is now. So with a heavy heart and wishful thinking of the future I bid you all farewell. This is my goodbye to everyone here. Dylan thanks for being there many a times when I needed someone to talk to and thanks for all the good discussions we've had over these many many years. Heck I remember when I was 14 years old and I was talking to you on the old GN Forums. I remember all sorts of stuff from we used to talk about and all the old users whose names were etched in the foundations of the old site. To be quite honest I'll probably miss you guys. So as I sit here typing out this message I'll find some words to say before my last keystroke. Now for some words for each and everyone one of the people I've met here and on the GN Boards. Dylan: Well pardon my language but your one helluva kid. You made me laugh so hard throughout these years, man you probably saved my life probably more times than I can count. You kept me alive through some of my darkest hours. Thanks for all the kind words, it meant a lot. Maybe I'm just getting old but I sure as hell hope you be good. Thanks for reading my poetry and the words of encouragement, in truth you were the only one who made me feel like my life my was worth living. Ya know man your just straight up pretty chill. Like I said you kept me alive and that my good friend is worth a lot. Knowing you kept me alive must probably feel pretty interesting, I hope this isn't falling on deaf ears. Before I forget your Dad has got to be one of the most interesting people I've met online in our brief acquaintances. I guess that's all I can think of to say besides this: Thanks for being there over the years! It Meant a lot and still does mean a lot! Lyssa: You helped me understand many things about myself better. Your always helpful and you helped me out plenty of times when I was down. Wetter: Sorry dude don't know your real name. Anyways even though I never really got to know you too well you always were an interesting person to talk to on the forums. Plus your a gamer and any gamer is a comrade. Bryson: Keep on being you little buddy. Joshua: Dude I'm going to miss our Star Trek rants. Bye guys! Thanks for being there over the years! It's been one heck of a run but my time here is finished. My email (in case any of you would like to keep in contact with me) will be sent to you in a private message. Edited by JustinB, Sep 20 2010, 03:34 AM.
