General Roleplay Rulings

  • Admin validation is active. This is defined as an admin having the power to approve your forum account before you are allowed to post on most of the board. If an admin is not online at the moment, please do your best to be patient. All accounts will be looked at. If a minimum of three days has passed and you have not been accepted or moved to the student mask, then please feel free to immediately PM a staff member concerning this situation.
  • In order to roleplay, your character must be accepted first. First, READ ALL RULES AND GUIDELINES. WE CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! IF YOU ROLEPLAY, WE AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF ALL THE RULES. Second, place an application, according to our guidelines, in the Student Enrollment forum. Third, wait for a moderator or admin to inspect your character and make changes accordingly.
  • When creating your application thread, you MUST title it the name of your character. You may NOT put anything else as this will instantly null your application.
  • You MUST listen to everything that the moderator or admin says when they check over your application. If they tell you to change something, DO IT. The staff is responsible for making sure that you follow the rules and fit into the community. Also, your final acceptance lies with the staff so we recommend you to not get on their bad sides.
  • Once accepted, the staff member who helped accept your character will issue a Student I.D. # and move your profile into the Student Archives.
  • If your character is not accepted for any reason, please do not repost it. Unaccepted is defined as being unable to change a part to fit the community. Basically, a certain part could not be fixed.
  • If you create a character and they are not acceptable, then you are given at most two more chances to create a new character or fix your current one. If those characters are also deemed as unacceptable, then you will be asked to leave the forum. If you resist, then you will be banned. The staff may overturn this ban if you come back after six months and explain to an administrator what you will do differently, what positive contributions you can make, and a legitimate reason why we should allow you to come back.
  • If you are told that you need to fix something, make sure you EDIT your first post and fix what needs to be fixed. After you fix the post, then please post a reply and let the staff member checking over your character know what you have changed by quoting the specific areas. This will save time and allow for a quicker acceptance.
  • NEVER post in anyone else’s profile. If you see something wrong with the profile, please PM the staff member checking over the profile. You may ONLY post in your own profile.
  • Once your character is accepted, DO NOT edit in any details without asking a staff member first.
  • Each section of a profile must contain at least one well defined paragraph where applicable. Keep in mind that details can make or break a profile. ***REMEMBER: Your character’s background SHOULD be the longest and not a meager two sentences. ***REMEMBER: Use correct grammar and spellcheck your work. We all hate to misinterpret something so try to spell correctly and use formal punctuation and grammar.
  • As a general courtesy, the staff will check the profiles that people create in order of oldest to newest. This way, people should not wait too long for their profile approval. Also, those who are taking advantage of the bonus of a second character should wait patiently as we like to accept new people in first.
  • If you create a second character and it is accepted, please edit it into your current character profile in the Student Archives.
  • If you are allowed to make multiple (3+) characters, please only post one at a time and in intervals of two days.
  • You must include the information that we request in your application. It is highly recommended that you follow the format as suggested by the staff. However, if you wish to personalize your application with different text and such, you may do so. Remember that this does not guarantee acceptance. Information may also include details suggested by the staff. ***REMEMBER: Respect the staff as they are volunteers who choose to help you get your character accepted according to Katouji University terms.

I think I really do need to clerify this for you all. You cannot and will not be allowed to be a character from any kind of anime/show/book/game/etc. However you may use a character's image and/or name as a base for your own character. If we find this rule is broken you will not be accepted even if you post a really good profile, please remember that it isn't that hard to think up your own things...just try to put the effort in guys.

Okay well, just to make sure you've read these rules anda agree to them, we would like you to include a 'I Agree' at the top of your application, if you forget to include this you won't be accepted until you include it, so make sure you read these rules fully.
