FORUM DESCRIPTION TAGS In The “In Character” forums of this role playing board there are several tags that are encouraged to be used when making a Thread description 1. [Open] Using this tag means that the poster is allowing anyone to join the thread and roleplay. 2. [Private – “character name”] Using this tag means that the poster is only allowing his/herself and the people listed in the thread description. Anyone who violates the tag will have their posts removed unless an OK is given by the thread starter. 3. [Request – “Character name”] Using this tag means that the poster is requesting another character to join them in a thread. Anyone who violates the tag will have their posts removed unless an OK is given by the thread starter. Edited by Tenkagomen, Mar 8 2009, 06:23 AM.

RESPONSIBLE ROLEPLAYING I do not like putting these kinds of posts up. Primarily because I hope that all of my members are responsible enough to take the following into consideration without statement or reminders. However I feel it best to place it up anyway so there is no confusion. GENERAL 1. Read all posts before deciding to enter an In character thread 2. Use common sense or think about the timing of your entrance into a thread. If it seams unusual, unlikely, awkward, or just plain do not think it appropriate to enter an in character thread. Don't 3. Be constructive towards the story of the thread, please do not enter threads just to disrupt them unless for an agreed purpose between the posters. Any complains of disruptive/malicious posting will result in either the removal of said posts, or closing of the thread. COMBAT 2. No "God Modding" for those of you who do not know this concept. God Modding is a term used when someone is acting as if they have control over your characters actions, treating the fight as if they are all powerful and anything you do is infective, or roleplaying an attack or situation where one character restrains another so their attack "Must" connect. There are exceptions as always, Storyline based battles, battles vs NPCs and or pre-agreements between posters for whatever reason may allow "God Modding" however any complaints brought to the staff of god modding will result in a review of the thread and possible closing of the thread with no reward. |
