So now that you've muddled through the seriousness of the main rules, let's get down to what you're hopefully REALLY interested in: Making your character and RPing.

First, as mentioned in the rules, carbon-copies of characters from anime/TV/comics/manga/video-games/books/etc. are not allowed. Borrowing some things is fine, but there should be an appreciable difference between your character and the pre-existing one.

When you make your powers, try to remember two things: One, is that for many mutants, metas, and other people with powers, events define you. Who your character is and the circumstances the character was in when their powers awakened play big roles in determining what the powers are going to be. You don't HAVE to follow that, but it serves as a good starting idea if you have a history or personality in mind for a character but are not sure on powers. You can do what you want really, but the super badass goth with fluffy angel-wings may look cool in your mind's eye, but if you think about it, there's a fair chance it may...not fit with the character very well. Again, this isn't really a rule and you can do what you want, but it's probably a good idea to take the character into account when you make powers, instead of making a person and slapping any old powers you want on them.

Remember that Originality does not always equal creativity or something good. Alot of things have been done over the years, so it's very difficult to find powers, characters, or other things that are completely and entirely original. Again, direct-ripoffs are bad, but don't stress if you don't feel like something is original enough or anything else. The bottom line is to have fun here, and if you like the powers and person you have, noone has any right to criticize it because it's not entirely original.

One thing that it's important to remember is that this is Kamen High, Masked High. It's called that because, well, most of the students here pretty much need a mask to blend in. This is a school for those meta-humans who are EXTRA freaky. The walking firebombs, the fish-men, the mass of tentacles with one eye. Hair colors aren't the only things that span the rainbow here, people. Skin colors do it too. Skin textures go from regular human skin, to scales, to spikes to fur. Horns, wings, tails, antennae, claws, extra appendages, anything you wanna bring to the party in terms of cosmetics/appearance is fair game here folks. Let your imagination run wild! I don't mind the people who look like normal humans but have powers, but they should not be all that we have here.

Remember that if you're presented with a locked door, sometimes the best option is to NOT kick it down. It may look cool, but it may also crush the hostages that are tied up in front of it. Not every problem is solved by fighting (though many times it's the coolest way to settle things!), and support, defensive, or general non-combat powers and traits do come in handy on occasion.

Finally: don't be afraid to be silly! Goof off! have fun! If A giant space-fish falls on the school bringing a battalion of radioactive broccoli men along with it, don't complain about how unrealistic it is, roll with it! You'd be surprised how the seemingly stupid or silly ideas can turn out to be the most fun.
