Here is to make the gold and point costs fair to the characters stats.

All the stats should average half the amount of the gold and point cost, plus extra gold/points based on how well the abilities are. For every 3 health after 10 it counts as 1 in the health stat for this. If they have an Arra stat, don't count that into your calculations (Or add on a small amount in case he has a ton of Arra). Instead, just add the gold or point costs based on the spells that they can cast.

So if a character has 16 health, 2 Speed, 2 Attack, 2 Defense, and 2 Resistance (And no abilities) then that character could cost 4 Gold and 4 Points. (Or 3 Gold and 5 Points, or 5 Gold and 3 Points, etc, just as long as they equal out to a fair value).

****************

For magic cards not to cost gold, they have to be a spell that you teach to a certain character (Well...teach as in equip it to someone with an Arra stat). For magic cards that activate on it's own, then it should cost gold or it would be unfair (Unless you can convince me otherwise).

The different cards are:

Character Cards
Assistance Cards
(A character that only stays as long as it says on their card (Usually only a single turn or once they use a certain ability). They have stats and go into play on the field (Which means they can die before they use their ability) and can't be equiped with any type of cards and usually can't attack like normal characters)
Event Cards (Like assistance cards, but not an actual character and usually can't be attacked and doesn't go onto the field. Instead it just activates at the time it says so on the card).
Location Cards (Place it onto your character or an opponent to effect stats. Some cost gold, like man-made terrain. Each character can only be in one location at a time. Some locations have the ability to effect everyone in play on both sides)
Equipment Cards (Equip to a character to effect stats. You can't give two equipment to the same body part (Like giving them two different sets of shoes). Each card specifies where it goes. Equip as much as you wan't to each character as long as they don't go to the same place.
Magic Cards

(Tell me if I'm missing something)
